4th Gen New Japanese Commerical - Headbutting Trees Confirmed!

Excitement ahoy! :3
Glad to see headbutting back.
/me practices lucky dance to get Aipom and Heracross

ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG! This day couldn't more awesome!
Thanks Nintendo, thanks.

oh my. these games are going to be awesome x3

i loved those animations with the legendaries and starters. that was so cute ;D

Excellent stuff! :D I think I agree with most - it'll be good to have the HB trees back instead of the much more complicated honey trees.

Thats. better. Yeah, it looks right to me now.
Also, I agree entirely with you, Captain.

The Pokewalker could look as good as Pokemon Red/Blue with a bit of work.

Its looking great and I'm glad to see Red Gyarados. (even though, judging by the reaction of everyone else, it's already been announced.)

Is the Red Gyarados really that much of a surprise? I saw it and thought "oh, okay, they already have him all ready for looking at and such." If its a remake of GS, and the Red Gyarados was rather vital to the Johto plot, shouldn't he be in the remakes? o.o

Sweet. If you can Headbutt trees, that means you can get it in the Islex Forest as well.

I should learn Japanese just so I don't have to wait until I'm graduated just to play this.

I just had a look over at filb's . It would be awesome if one day a game on the ds (or whatever handheld system) would look like the small video excerpts with the Pokémon playing in the leaves :)

I was just thinking that too. I hope this means the variety of PokéWalker Pokémon that can be captured is more extensive than I thought before. Perhaps some of the Hoenn Pokémon will be available in this manner as well...?

I don't know a lick of Japanese, but I am importing HeartGold and playing through it. I'm not expecting much of a challenge in the language barrier; with most of the menus being visual and touchscreen based, and the plot being nearly identical to the original GS, I'm not too concerned.

Okay what is that round room and who the hell is that?

I'm wondering this as well.

EDIT: I stopped the video after the round room due to a question and just finished it. Falkner's gym looks sick. These next few weeks are going to be so long.

I do declare these commercials to be awesome. =D

Random comments and pictures, away!

Spoiler:

No doubt its the cape. I just cannot think otherwise. Also filb.de has the high quality versions:

And the radio tower looks a bit untowery. And that has to be the lighthouse. For me at least.

Yeah,if you look through the windows, you can see the path that comes down in the games. If I remember correctly it has a crossroads that leads to an item or something. Plus there's water on the right side.

Hmmm... Munchlax on Pokewalker. This could mean the 4th Gen Preevolutions and Evolutions of 1st and 2nd Gen Pokemon (And Wynaut/Azurill) will be available in the game pre-E4.

Not necessarily true. It was noted how the original Johto PokéDex was brought back to the game. However, it may be possible to trade back and fourth with DPPt before the Elite, as it was with DPPt and gaining the previous generation Pokémon earlier.

Anyway, the video was awesome. It shared a lot of further details about the remakes as well as some answers to previous questions many have had before. I was reading things up on Serebii, and it was noted that it may just be possible to headbutt any tree, however it was also stated that it is unknown if any Pokémon are to appear from them. For me, I believe strongly that Pokémon will appear out of them at times like it was in the originals needless to say.

Also, another insight on a couple Wi-Fi battles were included in the video. I thought it pretty nice for them to share insight on that as before it had only been brought to show the two exclusive Pichus. Like noted before previously as well, the video gave more look at the Wi-Fi Plaza. So all nice details about the game indeed and all pretty cool.

It was nice to see Soul's backsprite in battle, that was pretty cool against her battle with Jasmine. Also to note, it isn't a bad looking battle sprite at all, for both Soul and Jasmine. It is great to see the gyms have been given their animated sprites like what was done in Platinum. Of course, it was pretty expected after realizing Silver got an animated sprite last week as well.

Other than this, Suicune looked pretty cool, the routes are coming along pretty well, and like said the game seems to have been extended further more into Kanto. With this being said, like I had mentioned before, Kanto, like Johto, may as well be getting a full revamp in size compared to what it was like before. A nice touch, but we'll see how it all turns out at the end. Nevertheless, great video, great insights, and all great details to further our knowledge about the game. Again, all the more anxiety for the game's release as well. :P

Whoa, that's awesome. Man...this game is going to be the best ever. BETTER than the originals. :D
