    Hi. My name's Zak, but I go by the name ZakKong. Why?
    Because when I was younger the remake of King Kong came out. This was I believe 2005 time and my friend ended up calling me Zak Kong. The reason being my last name has Kong in it. 10 years later and it's stuck as both a username and nickname for close friends.
    Reason being on a Pokemon forums.
    Isn't it obvious? I'm a Pokefan!
    Been playing since Ruby/Sapphire came out and have played each and every Pokemon game. Apart from ORAS & some spin-off Pokemon games.

    Anyways, the Gen 3 games are really awesome games; Emerald is my favourite pokemon game in fact! How about you, do you have a favourite pokemon game yourself? Or a favourite pokemon in general? Mine's Milotic! But yeah, you'll be pleased to know that we have all sorts of pokemon related discussion and threads here so you're more than welcome to check them out, as well as the other boards here for good ol' discussion in general like the Treehouse section!

    I hope you'll get to play ORAS soon. It's pretty fun, and it's really great as the RSE remake! And I hope you will have a spectacular stay on this forum!     Ruby & Sapphire were my first Pokemon games as well! Definitely something in common we got here already, and it's really nice to meet you too Zak!

    As mentioned above, Hoenn is a region that left so many memories in a lot of veteran Pokemon fans and ever since the release of Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, the old fans are suddenly getting back into the games again and reliving those memories which I think I definitely did feel as I was playing through Alpha Sapphire. There's tons of Pokemon sections and a few off-topic areas as well so loads of stuff you can talk about here.

    Hopefully you can get around to playing OR/AS soon since they are great and have revolutionized so many new mechanics as well as heavily improving the story in general. Have a great time yourself and I'm always here if you want to talk.
     
    OR/AS are so great, especially if you were a fan of the original R/S imo. But maybe I'm biased since Hoenn's my favorite region hehe.. certainly do hope you can try it though. :) Totally worth it! Big welcome to PC, Zak. If you're a Pokemon fan you'll find a lot to chat about here with how active this place is so do stick around.

    (I still hope I can try some of the spinoffs, there are waaayy too many I haven't played yet..)
     
    Aside from games, are you a fan of the anime? If so, what would be your favorite season so far?

    For me, I would say Advanced Generation, hands down! Characters that this season had provided seemed to have been very vibrant to me, which is one reason as to why I've kept myself tuning in. Alongside, its story-line was also rather intriguing, at least to me.
