Hi PokéCommunity!
Just found this awesome website and decided, why not? I have played Pokémon since red/blue version and have persevered throughout my teens :) Becoming progressively more knowledgeable through it all. However I have always played Pokémon as a pastime, not competitively. So I suppose I have to brush up on my Ev training and proper team building if I am to survive online, which I can now do...despite my frustrations on my computer trying to change my WPA key to a WEP for those very nice people at nintendo *cough* lol. Just thought I would say hi feel free to do the same ;)

Welcome to PC btw, Simon. Suppose you are here to freshen up your team and maybe battle with other members here? Well, we have the Competitive Battling Center for that. :D Check it out, you may get your teams rated, as well as meet other battlers and well... battle! xD I have a mod buddy who would looooooove to meet battlers like you, so you're more likely going to find here there. :P

So, you've been a Pokefan from the beginning obviously.

Have you played any 2nd-5th Gen games? If you haven't, you should do it.

You should check out the Competitive Battling Center for all your battling needs!

I'm more of an off-topic specialist, but I hang out in NU/W and most Pokemon areas too.

If you have any tough questions, direct them at anyone with that bold colored name.

Have a fun time battling and remember, Hikari is watching...

Thanks Very much for such a quick reply. Have racked up my fair share of hours on the 2-5th Gen Games ;) currently working on a playthrough of one of each starting from red-crystal-ruby-emerald-fire red-diamond-platinum-heart gold-black, currently working on white just finished battling N and friends and grinding up the levels on the post-league routes. Wanting to build the best teams from each and see what I come up with... Will be as active lots now that I've found some people to share my obsession with :)although the time difference might be a problem...the perks of being Irish!
