Hey everyone, newbie member here! I recently came back to Pokemon after taking a much needed break from gaming, so I've been replaying the original games and rediscovering what made them so great in the first place. :)

Some info: I've been playing Pokemon since Gen I, but Silver is my favorite game. My favorite pokemon are Typhlosion, Mewtwo, Lugia, and Tyranitar. My favorite pokemon movie is Mewtwo Strikes Back. Greninja is my current favorite pokemon from the newest gen.

Other than Pokemon, I enjoy video games like Journey, Persona, Akiba's Trip, and Shadow of the Colossus.

Hey, welcome, Lauriferous (that name is a little difficult lol). I don't think a person can really forget how great Pokemon is, it's just that kind of game, but that's one man's opinion; anyway, I like Mewtwo and Typhlosion too, and Greninja was my starter in Pokemon X (he's great, especially Protean Greninja). Also, I've heard of Persona, but never really played it; maybe you could introduce me? Aaaanyway, PokeCommunity is a great place and I hope you can get to know the people here and really feel welcome!

I wasn't a fan of the first generation, too glitchy for my tastes! but, great to see that you found your love for Pokemon back! nice Pokemons that you like! Tyranitar and Greninja are great ones, I love them! I never played the Persona games here, but I know that they're really good, I'm too lazy to look for them and play them, haha.

PC is full of active sections and cool users, you're going to feel like home here! I'm always open for chats or questions, so feel free to ask anything! good luck around here! :)

Hey Aisu, nice to meet ya. You can just abbreviate my name and call me L. :) The Persona series is really good, it's one of the few gaming series that really lives up to its own hype. Persona 3 is a good place to start if you're looking into buying one of the games. Thanks for the welcome!

...Mewtwo Strikes Back made me weep as much as the first movie... ugh, the memories. Did it made you sad? What were the parts you like the most?

Oh wow! Persona fan here~ I mostly played Persona 3 and Persona 4! Gotta play the other SMT franchise someday, I'm doing Nocturne now but... discontinued, got distracted... your favorite persona game? Shadow of the Colossus! I saw the game from a critique of one of the best games- I think. I admit, it's beautiful! The land is a mass and- I wanna play it someday when I have the time. (which might be never. >>;;) Journey also looks beautiful! Can't play because I have to buy that game...

What kind of game is Akiba's Trap? o: May I hear it from you? :3

Thanks for the enthusiastic welcome, sarcasm! Haha :) Great to meet ya. Mewtwo Strikes Back was very emotional for me, yes. I remember seeing it in theatres and thinking how awesome it was Mewtwo, one of my favorites, finally got his own movie! I think I still have the old promo cards they were giving out during the movies release. :) My favorite part in the movie is when the clones battle against the real pokemon near the end, and when Ash is revived. :)

Oh awesome! So you're a Persona fan too? Are you looking forward to P5? It's my most anticipated game right now! And my favorite Persona game in the franchise is P4G. Akiba's Trip is a really unique game. It's not everyone's cup of tea, though. I recommend it!

Hmm, so you are a Pokémon Fan for a long time! You started from the first gen! That's great! I have to say, I started from Gen 4 (Yeah I know,it's a bit sad), but I have played all the previous Gen's on emulators on the PC! But yeah ... I'm not a great fun of Gen 1 :/ Kanto is not one of my favourite regions :/

U.U, Tyranitar is a great Pokémon, I like him too! I think that he is the only rock-type Pokémon that I like, 'cause I'm not a fan of rock-type Pokémon :/
Greninja is a greeeeat Pokémon too! Seriously, when I first saw his previous forms (Froakie, Frogadier) I was just like " It's just a frog -.-" but then I saw Greninja! It's like a Turtle Ninja, but instead of being a turtle, he is a frog!

Holy Moly, Journey is a awesome and awkawrd game at the same time! It's very very beautiful too! I never played though, but I saw some videos in Youtube, and I fell in love! That's something about that game that makes me like it even more!
I've heard of Persona, but I never played it! I don't know anything about Persona, If you want to tell me more about it, I'm here to listen!
Shadow of the Colossus is an awesome, great and beautiful game! That ideia of resurrect your beloved by killing all the Colossus it's just beautiful and awesome! And the battles with the Colossus are so exciting and difficult!
Hmm, I never heard of Akiba's Trip \0/

Starting from Gen 4 isn't sad at all! Pokemon is a terrific series, no matter where you start. Gen 4 has some super cool Pokemon designs. Haha, and I was the same way when I first saw Froakie too. But then Greninja was revealed and its design was so amazing...there's nothing more ingenious than combining a ninja and frog. XD

Journey is indeed a great game. Very artsy and therapeutic. Persona is a great series too..you should definitely check it out when you can!

Never gets tiring replaying the older games. :-3 I'm a huge fan myself and got into Pokemon around 1999 so it's been.. quite a long time. Johto is also an amazing region with addicting games so you have pretty awesome taste already. I think G/S/C are my most-replayed at this point, ha. Welcome to PC even if I'm a little late, Lauriferous!

Lots of chatter about Persona through the internet, sometimes makes me feel like I'm missing out. :( Guess that's one thing to add to my to-do list?
