Hi Guys, ive posted once before for my team, its time for another one, previous team did quite well, just time for a change after a few demoralizing defeats.

    Ferrothorn
    -Leech Seed
    -Protect
    -Powerwhip
    -Stealth Rock
    Nature: Relaxed
    EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Iron Barbs

Pretty much a lead jst to set up stealth rocks and wear opponents down, not really sure if hazard lead pokemons are that common since i dont face much these days, so i wasnt sure what to go with.

    Gliscor
    -Protect
    -earthquake
    -toxic
    -roost
    Nature:Impish
    Evs: 224 HP/32 Def/232 Spe
    Item: poison heal
    Ability:Immunity

Id like to keep this from my previous team, apart from ice beam it seems to do pretty well still.

    Garchomp:
    -Outrage
    -Earthquake
    -Stone Edge
    -Fire Blast
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
    Item: Choice Scarf
    Abilty: Rough Skin

My only sweeper, mainly there to use outrage and for the occasional earthquake, seems to be kinda frail, maybe I should use a bulky dragonite in its place? not sure exactly what to use in its place.

    Rotom-W
    Trait: Levitate
    Bold Nature
    212 HP/ 252 Def /44speed
    - Hydro Pump
    - Volt Switch
    - Will O Wisp
    - thunderbolt

Defensive capabilites has saved me a few time, does handle most things quite well

    Sylveon
    -Wish
    -Protect
    -Hyper Voice
    -Heal Bell/Calm Mind
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 252 HP/244 Def/12 Spe
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Pixilate

And im stuck on the 6th member, to be honest im only certain with gliscor, so any advice will be really helpful here, also to add in this is only for single battles, wont be taking part in any tournaments, just random battles

    Sweepers are frail by nature.

I'd switch Ferrothorn with Heatran. I assume this is for Battle Spot singles, where its 3v3. While Ferrothorn is good, hazards generally aren't that useful in 3v3s. Heatran allows you to have a Steel type but also gives you a special attacker (yes you have Rotom but you need more firepower). Heatran is also 4x resists Ice, which Garchomp and Gliscor hate, while Gliscor and Rotom-W are immune to its nasty Ground weakness and Rotom also resists Water for it (and Heatran has a 4x resist to Grass for Rotom). Additionally, it has a 4x resistance to the Steel attacks Sylveon hates and is immune to Poison as well, while Sylveon resists Fighting for it. It also resists Fairy for Garchomp. So I think it fits nicely on the team.

    -Heatran w/Air Balloon
    Nature: Timid
    Ability: Flash Fire
    EVs: 252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense
Moves: Fire Blast, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Ancient Power/Hidden Power Ice

    or

    -Heatran w/Leftovers
    Nature: Calm
    Ability: Flash Fire
    EVs: 248 HP, 252 Sp.Defense, 8 Defense
Moves: Lava Plume, Protect, Will-o-Wisp, Roar

If you wanna try Dragonite out, here's a set:
    -Dragonite w/ Weakness Policy
    Nature: Adamant/Jolly
    Ability: Multiscale
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Moves: Dragon Claw, Extreme Speed, Dragon Dance, Earthquake/Fire Punch

That still leaves you with one open slot though....not sure what to put in.....

oh sorry i did not put that in, this will be 6 on 6 battles, ill go with a calm heatran i think, had been using tentacruel, tho that seems to be a bit outdated now.

Oooooh, it IS for 6v6. I'd still say swap Ferrothorn with Heatran, but now you could use a hazard setter. Tyranitar's not a bad option for that role. Garchomp, Heatran, and Gliscor all are unaffected by the sand it brings, and it shouldn't bother Sylveon too much.

    -Tyranitar w/Leftovers
    Nature: Sassy/Careful
    Ability: Sand Stream
    EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp.Defense, 4 Attack
Moves: Stealth Rock, Pursuit, Crunch, Fire Blast/Stone Edge

Its so specially bulky with the sand up and the EVs that Water (and Grass) attacks are hardly a problem. It is weak to Fighting, but you've got Sylveon and Rotom-W to help out with that.

If Tyranitar is unappealing, your could also try Roserade:

    -Roserade w/Black Sludge
    Nature: Calm
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP, 240 Sp.Defense, 16 Speed
Moves: Spikes/Toxic Spikes, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Synthesis

ah didnt even think about roserade, i might go calm heatran to set up stealth rocks, roserade as a toxic spiker, garchomp and gliscor, since i am using left overs on heatran i may have to swap out sylveon, and jst looking at that lineup, icebeam might be an issue

Mmm, yeah, I did forget that Roserade is also weak to Ice. You'd still wanna keep Sylveon on the team though; the Wish and Heal Bell support is very helpful, as is the Pixilated Hyper Voices. What you could try is to give Heatran an Air Balloon on the Calm set and swap out Protect or Roar with Stealth Rock.

Though at this point its probably best to just try these things out and see what works best for you.

yess air balloon!!! i shall try that

    -Heatran (air balloon)
    Nature: Calm
    Ability: Flash Fire
    EVs: 248 HP, 252 Sp.Defense, 8 Defense
Moves: Lava Plume, Protect, Will-o-Wisp, Stealth rocks

With Garchomp, Gliscor, Sylveon, and rotom wash

right so this is what ive come up with so far

    -Heatran (air balloon)
    Nature: Calm
    Ability: Flash Fire
    EVs: 248 HP, 252 Sp.Defense, 8 Defense
Moves: Lava Plume, Protect, Will-o-Wisp, Stealth rocks

    Rotom-W
    Trait: Levitate
    Bold Nature
    212 HP/ 252 Def /44speed
    - Hydro Pump
    - Volt Switch
    - Will O Wisp
    - thunderbolt

    Garchomp:
    -Outrage
    -Earthquake
    -Stone Edge
    -Fire Blast
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
    Item: Choice Scarf
    Abilty: Rough Skin

    Gliscor
    -Protect
    -earthquake
    -toxic
    -roost
    Nature:Impish
    Evs: 224 HP/32 Def/232 Spe
    Item: poison heal
    Ability:Immunity

Think im pretty happy with those 4 to go with i need one more attacker and one defensive pokemon to go with that somehow im still not that comfortable with sylveon so ill jst use him till i find sumthing decent

Minor nitpick, but switch around Wash Rotom's HP and Defense EVs. As a general rule of thumb, if a Pokemon's base HP is higher than its defenses, max it out.

ok done :) thank you, would you have any more suggestions on what to add? ive chucked in life orb greninja to fill up a slot and see how that goes
