Hi, I just joined here today, to be honest I already made a post in the x/y(z?) forum. Is this the place where we newbs introduce ourselves, if so then hello I'm Mega NOBODY(Like my name?) I'm also in the smogon forum. Although I'm not a very competitive player I do know a thing or two about it. I like everything pokemon the story, the fanfics(the good ones anyway), the battling, the anime(Not so much these days cause the B/W anime sucked).

Hi there! I'm new to PC forums. (even though this account was made last year >_> ) It's been a while since I've played the vanilla Pokemon games, but I'm an avid fan of ROM hacks. It's a huge reason why I joined PC in the first place. I mostly play Gen3 hacks, but I'm looking forward to playing hacks of later Gens. I just need help with finding a good NDS/3DS emulator and a brief lesson in patching... I can do IPS, but other than that I'm clueless.
I'd also be in making some hacks at some point. I have no experience software-wise, but I hope to learn soon. ^^

I'm currently looking for Hard Mode hacks, if anyone can recommend any. I want to try out Blaze Black 2/Volt White 2, but I can't really get it to work right because of the reasons listen above.

Hey Lucas! I've provided a few handy links for you to get started with in your intro thread, but I'll post them again here for the sake of convenience, and for any other new members who might be struggling a little!

Since you've posted here, I don't need to go into how it's a great place to get started in interacting with other members, but two useful places to check out first are the PokeCommunity Rules and FAQs. The former will give you a guideline regarding behaviour and forum etiquette etc, and the latter has a nice long list of answers to some of the things you might have been wondering if you're not entirely sure of how the forums work.

If you're still unsure of things, you can always ask in here, ask a member of staff, or in the Feedback & Support Forum. If you want to get to grips with the site but don't feel entirely confident doing so, and want someone to show you the ropes, the Adoption Thread is the place for you! Just fill out the survey and you'll be assigned a mentor shortly, who will take you through the parts of the site most relevant to your interests and settle you in.

That's about it...unless someone else has anything else they'd like to add, anyway. It's a very general guide, but we can get more specific as things crop up, right? :3

Gen 2 is awesome! I'm more partial to Gen 4 myself, although a large part of that is because there are also Gen 2 remakes as a part of it, haha.

For meloetta aside from my long love of pokemon, my favorite gens being 1&3, I also have had an interest in online forums for a few months now that I got a pc again, and wanted to find one that I could learn to practice more online socialization, communication skills (which are pretty lacking), and a place to vent in a respectful kind environment. but found many intimidating, or overwhelming. This one had a subtlety that made it seem just right, and the high friendliness meter was something I genuinely enjoyed. There are many things I do not know much about forums (Particularly with layouts, functions with certain things and sometime the etiquette) and I read the first post I saw on here that it would be appreciated that I do not ask for help here as I am not entirely sure if that is meant for a few questions or a just questions in general, so I think I might try Question's & Feedback. if there are other methods on here that would be of use as well I would greatly appreciate it.

Hiya! Welcome to PokéCommunity! PC was my first open online forum too and I must say, I've got really attached to it. People are really friendly here, so there's nothing to worry about. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to message me and ask them. Or, what could be an idea, is to sign up for the Adoption Center and get yourself a personal mentor who you can bomb with any questions. As for forum etiquette and rules, everything is right here, but just using common sense will get you a good end in the right direction already. :)
