Hello! My name is Jessica, but you can call me whatever you want. c:

I've been playing Pokemon since I was in Elementary, though I can't remember when. I can't decide what my favorite game is, though I do particularly enjoy the more updated versions like Black, Platinum, or SoulSilver. I don't love all Pokemon, and sometimes my teams are a bit more based on appearance than stats/type. That's starting to change, though.

Here's a question: do you get attached to your Pokemon? I do (except for that fire monkey on Black which I continuously trash talked until I got rid of him). I have a hard time getting rid of Pokemon that can hold their own but could be replaced with better Pokemon.

Hi Jessica! It's nice to meet you, and great to see ya join the forums. Welcome aboard! I've been playing Pokemon since elementary school as well. I remember it was like... super popular among my 3rd grade class. Those days were really awesome. The updated versions are okay, as I'm currently on my first run in Soulsilver, but I sorta grew up playing the classic games. Those were my childhood right there. xD But I'm quite surprised that the DS games have tons of improvements. For all the teams I make, it depends more on appearence and favorites, so I agree with ya right there. :P

Anyways, you're gonna like it here, as we're a large community that loves talking about Pokemon! Since you're new around here, and you're looking for some discussions, maybe I can suggest you to the Current Pokemon Gaming Discussions? This section houses discussions about Black & White, HG/SS, D/P/Pt, and our very own trade/battle sections, just in case you ever feel like trading and/or battling with other members here.

Edit: To answer your question, I'm currently attached to my Meganium. I take it on my PokeWalker everyday!

I'm always around if for any event you have any questions, or need help around the forum. I can answer asap. Read those rules, and have a pleasant stay here at the PokeCommunity! See ya!
