They look more like jump suits, the stuff you wear jogging in cold weather. Scuba gear doesn't make a lot of sense.

The Underwater tunnel takes us to Castella and seems to replace Wonder Bridge between Castella and Pinwheel Forest.

There is also a dock city on the western side of Unova. I'm going to guess that is where the Water Gym is.

That's far too thin/tight to be considered a jumpsuit used to fight off cold climate, so I don't think so.

Jogging suits aren't that thick. Its practically all we wear here in the winter since its never that cold where I live.

Girls wear their jogging pants similar to how the Female MC has her's sometimes. They can also be thermals. Which are like Diving suits cept they don't repel water. That or something similar to Under armor.

The shirt parts are also too short. If it were scuba suits they'd go to the wrist. Scuba suits are too tight to roll up.

I just noticed the fact we are starting in a city and not a town. Isn't this the first time we start in a city? It seems rather large considering it has the underwater tunnel made of glass, a trainer school, shops, and a Pokemon center.

This "City" looks smaller than Nuemva. It has like 3 buildings in it and branches out to the school.
Map makes it look smaller than it really is...We'd have to wait for translated name to see if it stays a City.

That's too far of a stretch at that point, as that's pretty flexible wear, worn in pretty much everyday life in any circumstance. o_o
Also, it's not fit for freezing climates if we're still going by the whole "Unova is half frozen" though the only thing we know right now is the map is frozen and not Unova.

Anyways, this is getting off-topic.

P0kelegend you've got a good point. It's about time they swapped up the starting zones.

Oh well. I guess all we have left to see is Smash and then it's back to playing the waiting game.
What do you guys think they'll be showing us footage of? Any new info aside from what's been shown?

I doubt they'd go that far. League official prolly just had them change out if they didn't pursue other occupations. I mean we had a lot of older ones this time. This is the second time we've had two Gyms Leaders switch, but a first for two full type switches.

A lot can happen in just two years.

Uh Rocky Kyurem was in the Unova dex in BW too...so that one wasn't added...
Also I noticed how this game's dex will have half of the Pokemon in the National dex...I wonder...could this be the end of Pokemon...okay joking...uh hope I didn't jynx it...

The poison type gym leader with a guitar reminds me of the glam metal band. Possible reference? Glad to see Eevee and Larvitar made a return, hopefully they'll be available before you finish the game or are about to. I'm lookin' at you Deino.

Before I forget, I do love that both protaganists this time have something that's rare for any playable Pokémon character: shoelaces. Only Hilda had them, I think.

I hate the new males head design, just, that hair, really? But I like the girls, and the rivals is my favorite! Hopefully you get to name your rival again in these games.
