    Hi,

This is not a showcase thread. I am planning to make a d/p style game. If someone would like to work with me creating a game, please reply here. If that game will be created, here is a small town with the new graphics.

On my computer, I have way more graphics. They are most rips and clean up tiles.
REMEMBER, if no one want to work with me, okay. This project will only run if I am with other people.

Dawson! How could you miss that double post?

Anyway, judging by the map, you should probably sharpen up the trees and houses.

Thanks for that. I'm well aware that it was a double post, but he updated a thread which had received no replies in a week with a -demo-.

Yeah, Vavavant, the game doesn't work. It opens up and then closes again. But I opened up your game in RMXP and all that was in there was one map and not a single event. Really, what was the point in showing that?

It took you six hours to make that poorly constructed map? Exactly what were you doing in that time? I mean, you didn't even configure the tileset properly.

That is the first time that I used RPG XP. For a beginner, I think it is okay. Maybe for you *Advanced Programmer probably* you where expecting a demo like: Talk to people, enter buildings etc. Just to let you know, like I said " I am a beginner only ".
I am satisfied from my product. But what is sure is that Pokemon Gale will look like a real Pokemon Game. And this is only a demo. Not a complete game.

But, dude, what I'm trying to say is, this isn't a demo. It's a map with no events at all. In other words, it's a screenshot, not a demo. I understand that you're a beginner, but you need to understand that people actually want to play demos where they do something. Talking to people, entering buildings etc are easy events to do in RMXP, so you should really know how to do them.

So, if you haven't really got anything playable to showcase, hang back and make progress on the learning and the game, and then come back and show us what you've got.

Dude, talking to people doesn't even require programming skills... you make a couple of clicks and there you go...

You can't even enter a house and your bigger than the tiles. You still have that team battle problem. What did you put in here in 6 hours?
