Next Year's Pokemon Event

    Hey, everybody!

    Since 2008 is comin' up, I just came to an epiphany. 2008 will be celebrating 10 years of Pokemon in the USA! From the anime and video games that filled our hearts in '98, to the thrilling adventures we currently share in Sinnoh, ext year will be a bash that celebrates 10 years of America embracing a franchise that's broadened our imagination.

    So what I'm predicting are these evets:

    Interviews with the creators
    Pictures with Pokemon characters
    Giveaways of Darkrai, Arceus, and Shaymin
    And best of all...a Pokemon tournament!!
    Including...a sneak peek of PMD2!

    So the purpose of this thread is to think about what you'd like to see next year when the big bash happens.
     
    Um I'd Like To see PMD 2's Gameplay.
     
    I'm looking forward to asking the creators and playig PMD2 most, along with the giveaways.
     
    Just a question...why did they come out with all the 10th Anniversary DVD's already? I've had my 10th Anniversary Pikachu DVD for a while now...and I also have a 10th Anniversary book...lol.
     
    Even if the Pokémon franchise didn't hit North America until 1998, the US still celebrated the 10th anniversary this year. All their 10th year celebration merchandise and parties and such occurred in 2007. :\ So I don't think anything special will happen for the 10th anniversary of it being imported stateside--it's already been done.
     
    That would be a cool to happen in 2008 for a event. There has to be one of course for the pokemon that you can't get in the game yet... lol
     
    Hmm...wouldn't Japan's 10 year celeb be for 2005? That's when it came out in Japan.:\
     
    Well, they have to have something big this year. I only wish Pokemon.com was up so I could see what they've planned for 2008.
