=P GBA downloads? I'm sure you won't be able to play roms on the Revo... lol. The thought of playing roms of GBA on the Revo with the remote control controller is pretty awesome.
I also got to agree It would be awesome with the revo remtoe control.
also It would be great to have gba downloads your be able to play your old gba games for free and your old pokemon games.
:D ....plus At least you don`t have to play it with a boomerang......(ps3 controller):D

o_o; What boomerang?

*no clue* BUT THE REMOTE CONTROL IS WAAY BETTER!
The ps3 controller I meant by boomerang here`s a pic of It and you can see why I call it a boomerang.

Looks more like a moon to me. =P

Maybe you can drive using it, but its nothing compared to the remote controller.

It does look like a moon haha lol.
maybe you could also use It for flying a plane.
Well at least the revolution controller Is not like that.

Eh, turning that whole controller upside down? If its become sweaty with the sweat from your hand, it'll slip. That thing is SOO smooth. lol.

The Revver - short for Revo Controller - looks WAAY sleeker than that. And way better futuristic too, PS3 is still with the old SNESy controllers.

News on Revolution Controller (how ironic XD)

The creator the "Unreal" series publically dissed the Revo Controller on IGN Live Next Gen Talk...

However another man (can't remember his company on the top of my head sorry X_X) quickly interjected and praised the controller, while dissing the PS3 controller (lol it was quite funny).

He didn't diss the X360 though :3 I noticed Nintendo and Microsoft never diss each other, they seem to have some sort of alliance or what not (not literally but hypothetically speaking).

Everyone just wants to decrown Sony (thank gosh) so cheers to that ^____^

Oh and the Mario Kart DS Site opened up ;P
"Unreal" series? What the heck is that? O_o
I remember reading that the day the controller came out a few head guys (as in company owners) liked the controller. Even the owner of Sega was on that movie thing they showed at the TGS.

And boo! *Is getting the PS3 when it comes out*. XD
I just don't like X-Box after Bill Gates dissed the GameCube right on TV. I thought about getting the X-Box, but when I saw that I said I wasn't going to get one.

I dunno if you know this but Sony are gunna lose the Final Fantasy exclusive and square broadening onto the Revo and 360, and also Games radar have got a revo page up and running
Well Final Fantay was never a exclusive to Sony. Sure they were the only ones with the inline games (7, 8, 9, 10 etc). And that's going to change with the 360 because the 360 is getting FFXI. But Square has made games for the GBA, they have/had one planned for the DS, they made one for the GC, and there are a few games on the NES and SNES that's FF. As well as they got one planned for the Rev.

LanceLite and MaxMan said:
Meh I wonder if you'll be able to play GBA/DS games on the Revo, like on the GCN.

By the way, wasn't there supposed to be a GCR - GameCube Revolution console? Is the Revo and the GCR the same thing?
Maybe, maybe not. I think it's going to be with the next GB.

CGR? I never heard of that.

Blazin Espio said:
unless they release a touch screen for the revo I doubt the DS games will work but GBA might be on the downloads
I wouldn't say that. I mean the DS is wireless, and the Rev will be wireless. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to play DS games on the Rev. I mean the Rev will be used (or at least I think) to download demos and trailers of games to the DS. Like if you wanted to play a demo of Pokemon D/P you'll be able to download it to the Rev and then do the download play for the DS.

Who said downloads had to be free? XD
You'll be able to download old games from the NES, SNES and N64 to the Rev.

Whee, you can download easily right now. =P But whatever..

They do have those flash cart things to play ROMs on the real GBAs. Unfortunately I don't own one.. *cries*

By the way, is Devil May Cry 3 for Revo or PS3?

Andy, the gamecube is a embarrasing piece of hardware even Nintendo Execs are finally admitting it.

PS3 Controller looks like a UFO XD I mean seriously, what is Sony good for other than over charging you for some software that is horrible.

I think that with this Sony shakeup going on, they are going to hurt and either fall in 2nd or maybe even 3rd place. And with Microsoft pushing to get closer ties to Nintendo, I wouldn't be suprised to see the alliance I have been talking about.

I mean Microsoft and Nintendo know what they want, and though Nintendo is distancing itself from the Gaming Wars they will eventually be pulled back in. They are just basically trying to strengthen their war chest.

I am quite shocked Sony isn't really building up its software to combat the Revolution's software to allow downloads of ALL Nintendo systems. I personally know of a lot of people who already plan to buy the Revo just because they miss the "good old games".

So is this a Nintendo strategy? Or am I just rambling and becoming someone like SeriousGamer007 XDD

A Revolution Is Coming -2006- (okay now I am talking like SeriousGamer007 for all those hardcore Nintendo fans XD)

I am not saying that the GC is the best thing that happened to Nintendo. I'm not saying it won this gen.
The GC was a let down and I think Nintendo could have done better. Really nothing new out of this gen from Nintendo. NES had a D-Pad and a controller, everything before was a joy-stick. SNES had L and R buttons, you could buy games to draw, and they had wireless game guns etc. The N64 was a shocker, it had a strange controller but it worked great. It had an analog stick, it also had a trigger button, it had a rumble pack, you could use the C buttons to change the camera view, you could get a mic and talk on it, and so many other things. I think the N64 was the best system Nintendo had. There were so many new things on it, that it made Nintendo great.
But I still think the GC held it's ground in this gen, it ended up last but it was "dead last". The sells weren't all that far off form Microsoft. And it has great games on it. SSBM (it's been on the top 10 Nintendo selling charts for like 35 months, no game out there has lasted that long. Sure there are games that has sold more then SSBM, but it's been out there the longest), Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II & III, to me they have the best looking games on the GC. The games look so real, it looks better then the movies. As well as other great games (I don't think I should start naming tons of games XD). Sure they could have done way better (1 thing is a DVD player, it would have been better off if they added one).

I think with the Rev they are pulling a page right out of the N64 book (at least on the controller). On the controller they are going back to the N64. I mean it had a port on the bottom for someone to plug things in, same with the Rev controller. It has the trigger button just like the N64 had. It has a really strange and different look, just like the N64.

The thing I hope the most is, I hope Nintendo tries to pull in some of the older group. I don't want to sit around all day playing 10 different games that has Mario's name slapped on it, Mario BaseBall, Mario Basketball, Mario DDR, Mario Kart (Mario Kart games are great), Mario Soccer, Mario Tennis and so on. I think Nintendo is pushing Mario a little too much, enough for people to get sick of Mario. Nintendo needs more RPGs, and PFS (I think FPS will play a big part in the Rev), and games that teens and even older gamers will play.

In the end I'm going to get both the Revolution (I hope they keep that name) and the PS3. And if I some how end up with 360 I might use it as a target so I can see how well my dad's rifle does on it. Unless I can get DoA *Wants DoA*. XD

And the only reason why Nintendo and Microsoft don't hate each other is because of 1 thing, Sony and Nintendo has history together. It's all because a little thing called the "SNES Sony CD".

Geez... who doesn't want DoA?! XD. I think I'm getting all the consoles... my bro will surely get the 360 and the PS3... and I'm getting the Rev. I need to think in... a game that will come out for the Rev... anyone has an idea of the games that will come out for the Rev? ^^;;; oh yeah... my bro is going to Japan YAY!!! I tell him that if he can't get katanas (XD) he buys a pair of getas.

Well the reason why I want DoA isn't for the fighting. If you get my drift. XD

Right now only a few games were announced. A Metriod game, a Donkey Kong game, a Final Fantasy game, Mario 128 (that might just be a demo to show what the Rev can do), a Legend of Zelda game. And a new Super Smash Bros game, and they said it's going to be online.

Nintendo shouldn't be hating Sony. They should be hating Phillips. They are the real reason that whole thing happened.

Meh.... If Sony came later Nintendo, they're the ones who should be sad and weird, 'cause Nintendo came first with the ideas for games so they rule.

And plus we can come up with more better design for controllers and Are`s dosen`t look like a boomrang, moon, or enything else that is a strange shape for a controller lol.And the Revolution don`t look like a speed bumb like the ps3 does.

Of course I know 'our drift'! XD. Geez... WHO IN THE ENTIRE WORLD wants DoA for fighting!!!? XD... only the 10% of the times I have played DoA are for the fights... *whistles innocently* XD

Ok... from the ones you mentioned... the ones I would like to play is the Metroid one, the Legend of Zelda and the Super Smash Brothers online... man... I can't wait to play against other online!!! XD... wait... how are we going to play Super Smash Bros. with that controller!? o_O... oh whatever.

If Sony came first we wouldn't have games as we know it today.
Nintendo came up with so many ideas that changed gaming (mostly in the controllers) that it would have been totally different without them.

Speed bump. XD
I wonder why hasn't anyone made a fake pic of a PS3 speed bump before. XD

DoA for fighting wouldn't be half bad. But I'll take something like Tekken over DoA (as fighting goes). XD

Nintendo has said they are going to make a shell for the Revolution controller. The remote will fit in the shell and the shell will be something like the GC controller.
Something like this (note this is an IGN mock up pic, it's not a real Nintendo shell. But it gives you an idea on what something like it will look like)
[PokeCommunity.com] NFC - Nintendo Fan Club

Man... that controller... looks amazing o_O... oh well... they HAD to make a shell... there are some games that were/are not made to be great with the new controller. But... that pic of IGN just makes my brain think the real shell will be like that... but meh... no mater what, I'm sure Nintendo will rock anyway XD.

Does anyone in here think Nintendo should have won this gen?

I mean, X-Box had better graphics but development costs were high. PS2 and Gamecube development costs were about the same and the Gamecube had better grapchics. So, if you think about it, the Gamecube should have been developers favorite console because development costs would be low and the eye candy would be great (just look at RE4).

I just think Nintendo could have had so much more success if they supported regular DVD, I'm not saying I would prefer it but people who don't get consoles for all the great games would.

In the end third party support was the downfall of the cube and peoples false beliefs that the Gamecube was underpowered.

This gen looks like it's going to go great for Nintendo because people who get a 360 or PS3 will get the Rev as a second console and Nintendo does have a great fanbase so a lot of people with a Cube will be getting a Rev.

Plus, the controller is awesome and has so much potential!

Woot! I can't wait for next year!
