Currently scheduled for release in Japan on July 18th, 2003, the SD Memory Card Adapter lets you use postage-stamp sized memory cards in your GameCube. Right now, it's unknown if you can use these simply as a memory card replacement, or if there are game-specific functions.

Now our second long forgotten hardware is the
Nintendo GameEye
Be a wrestler, a fighter, or any character you desire. Game Eye puts you in the game
Before Rare was sold to Microsoft, the Perfect Dark got people talking when demos showed connectivity with the Game Boy Camera, but unfortunately the feature was axed from the final version.
Thie dew hickey will allow you to snap a picture of your face and map onto certain in-game characters. The first game announced for Game Eye is Stage Debut, but little else has been told regarding either product.

And last but not least now I'm going to talk about the most forgotten Gamecube hardware that is so rare, it is yet unknown how quantities are left. I'm taking about is the import only
Panasonic GameQ!!
In order to capitalize on potential sales in Japan particularly with a lower-cost hardware unit that will play GameCube games as well as DVDs (DVD players are still expensive in Japan comparitively) Matsushita/Panasonic is has created this hybrid machine, called the Q.
While the Q has been released in Japan, it is unknown if or when the system will launch in the U.S. or in other territories. It's believed that if it launches in the U.S. at all, it won't be until 2002 or 2003.
The Q currently comes at a $315 U.S. retail price. But it yet as of now if these consoles are in still in the Japanese market.
Well, that's I have time for today. Tune in next time, as I will discuss some more rare Nintendo hardware like ROB, the Zapper, and the Super Scope. This has been Shenlong's Wonderous Findings of Nintendo's Treasure. See you next time! :)
