Ahh.. nothing beats old Nintendo stuff anyway.

PSP throws its discs out when you play too. =P The DS doesn't do that, I'm sure. When do you think Nintendo will make a portable that can play GBA (and all GB/C games and below included), GC and DS games all in one?

Oh for hardware Nintendo is the king. Sony makes crap when it comes to hardware. I know first hand. My first PS2 broke, my first controller messed up, my second controller is starting to mess up (the one that came with the second PS2) and now my brother's conrtoller is messing up. And my PSP has a crack on it.

I don't think you'll have a handheld that plays GB/C/A games, DS and GC games. Someone said that the next GameBoy will play GC games. But seeing how the DS and Micro don't play anything below GBA I won't be shocked if you won't find a handheld that plays them.
What Nintendo should do is have a game downloader. I mean you plug your GB/C games into this thing (think of a name for it XD) and it downloads your game to a flash memory card (well makes a copy of it). And then you have something like Play-Yan to play it on the DS.

Heh.. that'll lead to total piracy of games. =) MORE FREE GAMES!

As if roms weren't enough Andy. >_> Downloading games like that is .... feels weird. But what the heck, we'll play anything.

Heh.. I so want to play the old NES/SNES Megaman games.. and the Pokemon Stadiums and Snap from N64.

=P So yeah. Nintendo MAXed. <-- random name for Nintendo console playing everything on its own... portable or not. ^_^

*Ahem* The GBA SP? It could play older games...along with the GBA.
The GBA also plays GB and GBC games. But if you look back then you'll see "When do you think Nintendo will make a portable that can play GBA (and all GB/C games and below included), GC and DS games all in one?".
And the way Nintendo is going it's shooting for handhelds not playing the old GB and GBC games.

Good point. XD

But I still don't see Nintendo making a handheld that plays older games. Unless it's going to be a download thing like they are doing with the Rev.

I don't think Nintendo will make a portable that plays all of their games but just the most recent and a download thing would make sense because they could make the Rev compatible with the next GBA since they are doing it for the DS. If the next portable from Nintendo plays Gamecube games it would mean Gamecube graphics which then means it could play all games pre-GC era if the controls are well suited for N64.

Gamecube games on a portable ......... Nintendo could do it but they should wait a while if they don't want people with DS's to feel that their hardware is outdated.

I'm still here ^^;

Is anyone else really wanting to see the "shell" for the Rev's controller? <____<; I do =D

Nintendo just should come with a Gameboy or a game where most of the games of before are. Like... using the new DS cartridges to make some older games come back again... like Megaman games!! or cool games of N64, NES and SNES... like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, Spider-Man games... and etc.

And no, only a few games have been let out. Nintendo has said they are working with a good many third party game makers (I forgot where I read that) but only games Nintendo has let out is ones from Nintendo (SSB, Metriod, LoZ etc).
Are you kidding me?! That is crap, why do we need another SSB game I mean the first one was great but nothing really changed from game one to game two. At least with other fighting game series (DBZ) they make upgrades...

Anyway, yeah I really want more info on it as well. I did hear one thing that was really cool about the controller you may already know this but you will be able to use the controller as a bat on Basball games, and a sword on fighting games, and a fishing rod on Fishing games. Cool, eh?

SSBM rocked our world on the GCN >.o; Not sure what planet you're from, but the graphics were better; more unlockables...everything was better XD

And there are a lot of old games Max Hunter. Like the Megaman 10th Anniversary collection, Sonic collection, Tellivision, etc...

Yea I know... but even more!! XD. I saw this game... it had some Atari classic games and the one that I played a lot was the old and fun pong game... too bad it was just for display... and... it was for DS

YEAH! All the Megaman games coming up like that would be AWESOME!

Well, I wouldn't mind playing that old Mario jumping around that evil castle all day long in 3D and colors and all that. =P

I think it will be a year or so down the road before Nintendo does come out with the next handheld. We might not hear anything on it till E3, 07 (buy then the DS will be able to fade away into the background).
I think it's strange how the GBA is really keeping up in sells. The games I mean, the DS looks better and has a touch screen and so on. But the GBA games still sells.

Nintendo should play it smart. And put the shell in the box with the remote. And every controller you buy it comes with the shell. I mean looking back at some of the thread in OG about the controller was posts where members didn't want to have to buy a shell for every controller.
But yea, I want to see the shell.

Thomas have you played SSBM? O_o
Really, calling the best (and longest selling Nintendo game) Nintendo game crap is really pushing it. It is far better then SSB.

I kinda agree with Arcanine, Thomas-san... SSBM is better than SSB. SSB was a great game, but SSBM is way better. The graphics are a lot better, new, better stages. New moves and new characters... I think next SSBM game will be better than the GC game... Nintendo will find the way to do it.

What would really be nice would be a SSB DS game. That would be awesome. ^^

Andy, Nintendo will have a new handheld probably at E3 already (or a new version of DS).

With the Revo coming, they are going to be launching next products galore to make sure they keep the handheld market. And with Sony making a new PSP version for next year, I can gurantee they will be doing something.
