Nickname: Gojira
Reason: Because Tyranitar reminds me of Godzilla, which is named Gojira in Japan.

Pretty fitting name for a Tyranatar, I can totally see it as Godzilla.

Nickname: Grunt
Reason: Lairon reminded me a lot of a character from the Mass Effect series, so I thought this was the perfect name for it.

It's a good name but the first thing I actually thought about was a Team Rocket grunt, and that's kinda lame but I'm sure you can come up with a better one :)

Reason: Because why not it's so damn funny xD got the idea when I saw a Total Drama AD on Cartoon Network...
 
5/10 - from me, I didn't really get what the nickname means - I don't watch Total Drama AD, why I didn't get it.

• Pokemon: Mienfoo (female, shiny)
• Nickname: Maria
• Reason: when I first caught her, I couldn't think of a nickname, so I just named her after my mom and my grandma. A typical Spanish name too, for me easy to remember.

Reason: Aceline has a french Origin which means Noble. Ive always chose Cyndaquil as a starter in SGC.

Nickname: Lady's Man
Reason: Obvious name for obvious reasons.

Nickname: Shadow

Reason: Charmander's Japanese name is Hitokage, and kage means Shadow.
 
6/10 its cool name but might be more fitting for a shiny charmander.

Reason: thought it would be funny. And it is :)
 
7/10 [for the nickname idea] - I get the joke, never liked Bieber at all.

• Nickname: Simba
• Reason: It could be from 2 sources. First my main reason is the simba is the Swahili word for lion (as it came to mind first), I also remember that Simba is also the main star in the movie "The Lion King" (I should have made it my main reason)

Reason: Blastoise's shell is so powerful, so I based his name on his hydro cannons^^
 

I give it a 7/10 ... It seems cool yet it doesn't seem so... fitting.

Nickname: Hayden
Reason: Hayden is one of the many nicknames of my best friend. It was the one I loved so much so I gave it to my most favorite starter Pokemon, Superior!

Reason: Because it was a very powerful water poke, which somehow reminded me of Aphrodite (Venus), the Greek mythology goddess that rose from a clam.
