I named my metagross Antimant, short for antimantium. I think it's 3 times stronger than steel. I can't remember how much stronger exactlly.

I don usually name my POKeMON. I dunno why. I just don't.

I do remember a couple that I did, though...

In my old red version game I had a Blastoise named Squirtle....
Also, in Pearl I once named my Riolu "Humbert"... I don't remember why...

Many of mine are named for game characters, anime characters, Disney characters, and foreign words that suit the Pokemon.

Examples:

Diddy the Infernape (after Diddy Kong)
Luce the Luxray (Luce is Italian for light)
Tails the Floatzel (after Sonic's sidekick)

or like Sumizome for a dark type
(Sumizome is Japanese for Dark)

Depends, I like to nickname Pokemon I'm going to trade my friends unless they're all anti-nicknames, so I try to find things that fit.

Sakura the Meganium, Poseidon the Suicune, and Angel the Espeon jump out at me from my Crystal Version, however.

I name after things like fruits, berrys, and herbs. Grass Type Pokes mostly :D.

Breloom (female)- Basil
Meganium (female)- Blossom
Kecleon (male)- Wabylu
Drifblim (male)- Swifloo
Venusaur (female)- Rosetta
Torterra (male)- Surfrai
etc.

If I'm gonna trade a pokemon to a friend I give it the worst nickname EVER!! Some I can't post cuz I think i'd get in trouble.

i need a good frosslass nickname. i like funny nicknames and what some others may consider offensive lol.

I'd name it FrostButt (but change butt to a different word. lol)

thats a pretty good one. fill to the er

Children..... anyway, I recently named my shiny Metagross ShotGun, I like to imagine it that way with its ChoiceBanded BulletPunch.

I've only played the games once or twice (I'm just getting into pokemon again now) but when I use to play, I gave them actual names of people (like Bill, Kevin, Lisa, etc.).
