note: very similar to the gift pokemon run of the past

Welcome to the challenge run!

The rules are simple: don't catch anything!

- HM slaves can be caught but no using them in battle AT ALL. no exceptions.

- Find a shiny? catch it by all means. just don't use it in battle.

That is for the easy mode. Hard mode is slightly diffrent...

- no HM slaves. plan your route ahead of time.

- if you can buy multiple of the same pokemon, only buy one.

OK, here are some of the routes for those hard mode users:

Fire Red/Leaf Green:

- you CANNOT choose squirtle because you can't use cut otherwise.

Daimond/Pearl:

- you starter MUST be piplup or you can't surf

Platnum:

- if you don't choose piplup as your starter you MUST evolve eevee into vaporeon.

X/Y:

- No restrictions! yay


others:

- haven't played those games. if you find a route, lemme know.

Most games have a little bit of variety, but yea, that's true

dangit! I forgot about in-game trades!

they are allowed IF YOU CAN PERFORM THEM. for example: In FR/LG, buying an abra to trade for a mr. mime is ok, but you CANNOT buy another one. in D/P, you cannot trade an onix (I think...?) for an abra because an onix is unobtainable.

EDIT: my run is finished! WOOHOO!
