Day Seven - It All Ends Here
Incoming meteors have spurred people to action.

    How exciting.

There was . . . one who didn't really feel like moving around tonight. Ironic, considering that's supposed to be the meaning of his existence.

Wait, what's that? Though the man's body was obliterated by the meteor, a strange doll remained in the crater where he once stood. Does . . . does that count? Well, he did die at night. How interesting.

A little girl walked over and picked up the doll. A rather ominous smile danced across her face. She had successfully captured the man's soul.

And now she had no reason to remain in this town.

And with her gone, and a new recruit entering the Cult's flock . . . they had just enough to take over the town today. Oh, the power of people actually using night actions! Good thing they did that today, too, because their newest recruit had just set a curse upon their leader, which would have lasted through the day . . . and had she realized that time was running out, the entire cult would have been ended. That would have been exciting. Too bad.

The Prophet was going to be displeased. He'd finally made his prediction tonight, but even he couldn't have predicted that events would come to such a rapid conclusion.

    And who else remained?

A monkey, which hadn't managed to see or do much at all during this mess.

An Alien, who had managed to probe four of the seven surviving townsfolk, not including himself. He was so close! But so far.

And an infected Survivor. The Zombies had bitten him, but that mattered not. He'd made it to the end, and so he too was victorious. He managed to flee the town before the Cult worked its hold onto him.

The four Cultists walked up to the Prophet, the Monkey, and the Alien, inducting them into their fold. They had done their service to the Old Gods . . . despite having actually just killed an Old God the previous day. Oops. Still, they'd won, and that's what mattered.

A party had won this game of no parties . . . go figure.

    Trivia!
    • Between the Diabolist and the Voodoo Lady, only one curse throughout the game actually killed its target, and that was the Diabolist's very first curse that killed Johnny during the first day, on his first vote! How did gimmepie do it? The world may never know.
    • Speaking of gimmepie, he was incredibly popular during Night Two. Every single role in the game that could visit, with the exception of the Zombies, the Alien, the Survivor (who did not visit at all that night) and the Diabolist (GP's own role), visited gimmepie. If only he had been Medusa.
    • The game might have been a bit faster and more hectic had the original Cyborg, Who's Kiyo?, who could only convert other players during the day, not been recruited during the very first night by Ash! She managed to take out one of her biggest threats immediately.
    • The Creepy Girl had an extremely limited number of ways to win. With her win condition being that the person holding her doll had to be killed at night, and most killing actions occurring during the day, she could only win if the Siren, Werewolf, or Priest had managed to kill her target, or if the doll was in the possession of a Zombie when they tried to infect the cult. Luckily(?), Abby gave the doll to Desinishon, who never once passed it throughout the game, and since he was modkilled at night, it technically counted.
    • Starting Night Three, the Cult stopped recruiting members, out of fear of being killed by the Siren. Unbeknownst to them, the Siren role had not been RNG'd into the setup. Ironically, the Cult could have won that very same night if they'd recruited someone other than jdthebud or SirDolan, as SirDolan was Cthulhu and thus was aligned with them already, and jdthebud had visited SirDolan and thus could not vote during the day. By recruiting that night and teaming up with SirDolan, the Cult could have forced a stalemate in the lynch and then won by recruiting again the following night.
    • EvilChameleon gave the most consistent night actions in the game, only abstaining once after his strategy of Voodooing usernames kept failing. Ironically, the only time he did not Voodoo a username was during this final night, where he cursed Ash with the word "time." Had the game not ended, and Ash had gone on to say the word "time," the entire Cult, including EC himself, would have perished.
    • jdthebud, as the Alien, had to probe each surviving player to win. He almost accomplished this, with only one of the players that he targeted during the entire game, that being SirDolan, having been killed.
    • Poor Mr Cat Dog! Lynched the same day he replaced Aaron! You savages.
    • Of the entire setup, six roles did not make it into the game based on RNG. These roles were the

    Points!
    30 Points (Team Victory)
Ash, gimmepie, Johnny, EvilChameleon & Fletch
    20 Points (Solo Victory)
    Abby & Bardothren
    -20 Points (Inactivity)
    Who's Kiyo?, Fletch & Desinishon
    MVP (15 Points) - gimmepie & EvilChameleon
Now, this was difficult to choose. In a game with no teams besides a Cult, who could be MVP? There were no major team plays or efforts to work together, due to the nature of the game, so that couldn't decide it. There were no particularly "massive" plays, either. So, what I decided to look at was consistency. Going by this, I ended up choosing between gimmepie and EvilChameleon. Both were consistent with night actions (EC only abstaining on his once, and GP using his every night until he was Culted) and votes (both always voted for someone). Both were in the top three posters of the game, with only Abby surpassing them. As for plays, GP managed to get that great kill on Johnny during the first day, but that was his only one, and he did lead a lynch, but it happened to be against someone aligned to him, though he was not aware of this. EC did not use his action successfully, though his was the arguably more difficult curse to fulfill. Both helped to promote some town discussion and keep the game moving. And, so, I decided that both could be co-MVPs.

  • I was going after you constantly with very thin reasoning, I figured you vote me back :')
    Instead you just got lynched.

    Then I got culted :')
I figured I'd just get accused of OMGUSing and then get lynched even harder. But sure, your reasoning was hella suspect.
