Have you ever been shocked or surprised at the actions of someone you thought you knew well?

If so, did it make you change your opinion of that person or did you see them in the same way you did before?

Do you think that the majority of people have 'another side' to them that they very rarely show?

This has happened to me, and while I didn't necessarily look at them the same afterward, I also didn't hold it against them. But it did make me think more, still it wasn't anything really bad, just different from what I expected of them.

I definitely think that most people have another side to them that they rarely show. I know that I act way differently around certain groups of family than I do with others, and I think that many people are like this. I also think that there are people who have a side that they never really show at all, and as people grow and change they start acting differently, and perhaps this side of them comes out because it is who they really want to be and were just looking for the opportunity to change.

: I just see them in the same way as before.

Do you think that the majority of people have 'another side' to them that they very rarely show?
: Yes, they do because everyone has something to hide.

I have, indeed. I saw them the same way afterwards, however.
I believe people have parts of their personality which they hide, yes.
