Well, Nokia has been around for making phones for quite a while now, even though it was acquired by Microsoft and getting rebranded as Microsoft Mobile at some point. However, in months ago, Microsoft announced the sale of Nokia phone division to FIH Mobile and HMD as well.

So then, at this time, Nokia has announced that they'll be back in smartphone territory starting in Q1 2017, and it's rumored that these smartphones will be running in Android! Do you have any thoughts of this imminent comeback, and do you think that Nokia will claim the top spot of mobile phone market once again?

    Source on this?

Microsoft bought and now owns Nokia's mobile division and has for a couple of years now.

Hmm? I think Nokia is not new if it comes to making smartphones, because they already have the experience from quite long now. I still remember when they used to be a leading brand of smartphone thanks to Symbian OS for years (and don't forget to mention their feature phones as well), before Android decided to take the spotlight.

And I think Nokia is doing fine starting with small steps in China, but then, I hope Nokia will make a pretty decent yet full-featured Android phone in worldwide. Besides, some sources also says that there are more Nokia phones waiting to be announced with in February 26th, so I'll look forward to it.

    it'll be indestructible

but on a serious note, i'm not sure how well it'll do, especially with how samsung is and has been the top dog of android devices for years. it may be worth looking into loading their devices with a custom os. i know it didn't quite turn out for blackberry but I do think that's because it was missing something. if it's geared toward the average consumer it will be a tough uphill battle for them. nokia, for me anyway, was always know as the phone that NEVER breaks, and i do hope they keep that seeing as most smartphones these days are donezo if you drop them. i suppose this is a more of a "wait and see" type thing. i'm definitely looking forward to see what they come up with.
