[Nominations] Nominate Anime for The Inaugural Watch-Along

    What we have here is a thread where you nominate anime for our first watch-along (this is not streaming a series, this is watching a series one episode per day/week and then discussing it in the weekly thread). The rules are simple:

    1 nomination per person.

    Keep it PG-13 or PG.

    No movies.

    No currently airing series.

    The nomination thread will be open for one week, ending on the 18th of August. Voting thread comes next.

    Yeah, just one this time around. Want to keep choices to a minimum. No restrictions on the number of watch alongs you can nominate a show for unless it's already been watched, though.

    No series is too popular to recommend. Baccano! may be too violent for this watch-along, though since a certain someone nominated Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 which I'm pretty sure is much more traumatic than Baccano!, I'll allow Baccano! to be voted on.

    Honestly took me awhile to think of something PG.
    Loved this show. Was also tossing up nominating "one outs".
     
    I'll throw in a bit of a wildcard, one of the most underappreciated anime of 2007.

    (By the way, the manga is amazing... well, if you can get through the retro character designs, clearly)
