Non-attacking moves - Do you use them?

Protect + Pressure
Attract
Thunder Wave Darkrai (rather than Dark Void)
Me First is fun as hell (when it works right)
Bulk Up, Stockpile, Curse, Iron Defense, Charm, Swords dance, Featherdance for stat changing

Focus Energy for ingame.

Since I don't battle much outside of the in game trainers, I use attacking moves a majority of the time. If I do use any non-attacking moves, they'll generally be the status-inducing ones (Toxic, Sleep Powder, Thunder Wave, etc.) or a healing move like Softboiled or Recover.

I use to be all four attack moves but since going on Wi-fi battles I am goin to look into those non attack moves

When I was playing on Gen I, I was about less than 10 years old, which means I knew nothing when it came to strategy and so never used them besides Leech-Seed (Which is still one of my favorite moves). As I became older, I started appreciating these non-damaging moves with more strategy. And now that I frequently play hacks that ups the difficulty(Such as Volt White and Expert Emerald) I frequently use these non-damaging moves. Right now, my Ninetales in Liquid Crystal has 3 non-damaging (Will-o'-Wisp, Confuse Ray, and Sunny Day) and only one damaging move (Flamethrower.)

In-game, I don't usually bother with non-damaging moves outside of one or two paralyzing and/or sleep moves to assist in catching legendaries. Most story battles simply aren't long or difficult enough to warrant a lot of setup with non damaging moves when a quick assault would work just as well.

For more intense battles, however, my team is set up with a few non-damaging moves. Thunder Wave, Agility, Roost, and Haze are among them. These have served me well since they give me a variety of options, ranging from disabling my opponents to restoring my HP.

When I was little i never used to use them, but now I love them. Most of the time I don't use them in game, but in places such as the E4 and Battle Frontier/Subway I do. Love spamming double team and then focus punch. I also like T-Wave, very helpful for slow Pokes.

I pretty much always use attack moves, or ones that are useful outside battle.

I almost never use them I've been that why since I was little. Unless I'm trying to make competitive team to battles my friends I don't usually mess with no attack moves.

I don't use a wide variety of them and I never use any buffs or debuffs unless I'm trying to wear a Legendary down. I use moves that cause status afflictions but I mostly just attack and plow through.

In the beginning of the games there's not really any use to them, but towards the end every pokemon on my team has a good one that I use. Whether it's raising stats or inflicting status conditions, I love to use them. (they're really fun!)
