Just thought I should comment on this. It's true, most moderators aren't going to hold your hand and tell you what you should do, teach you the right way to do something, and tell you what you shouldn't do (until it comes to that). Some - no, most - moderators, however, are willing to meet a member halfway and give members who don't necessarily know what they're doing around here or are intimidated for whatever reason to do something a helping hand during their time. You guys are lucky this doesn't happen on a flipping Pokemon forum. Moderators, depending on who they are, may reiterate certain parts of the rules to you, but for the most part, they are to be understood. You guys just don't want to read them and to be honest, thats your fault. You should have read them; the mods aren't going to hold your hand 24/7 and tell you everything you need to know.
With that said, there are plenty of members in the community who are more than willing to do the same. It doesn't have to be someone on the staff, but for some reason some members feel that it does. But moderators are not people who are here to yell at you for whatever you do wrong. And, like always, people always think we're doing things just to get them out of spite because they think we don't like them.
