All computer technology is confusing to me.

But all I know is how to use WMM for the movieish side of the desktop.
 
The reason why I don't like WMM is because it looks really bad. I mean you can't really see anything clearly.

First off, get the Wii, it's going to blow the pants off the PS3.

Second, read the PC rules on spam and the DCC rules about topic changes.

Hmm...I don't know about that, Andy. No doubt about it, the Wii is going to be an incredibly fun system. I think it's going to be more of a kids system though. Not that I don't like or play kids games. If it can re-kindle the magic of the N64, yes, it'll blow the pants off the PS3. I just don't know if it's going to do it or not. Just seems that more PS3 game titles appeal to me.

But you also have to remember, every person is different. There are probably going to be people that'll disagree with every point you make. :/

I, however, am one that'll want the Wii and only the Wii. 8DDD I <3 Nintendo, I grew up with it (along with Sega, but they don't make systems anymore. >: ). I remember the days of the SNES... good times, good times. :DDD

I'm not getting a PS3 because it's too expensive, and I don't see a lot of games I want for it right now. Actually... I don't see any right now. XD;;

You definately made some good points in there. Certainly didn't sway my thinking, but it raises some questions. I happen to know a good many people that are willing to spend the extra couple hundred on the PS3, simply for the reason that the Wii is said to be more of a kiddy system. Nintendo hurt themselves with the Gamecube, because now everyone stereotypes Nintendo or assumes that the Wii will appeal to the younger crowd more. Of course, if they did their homework, they would know that there are a lot of quality games for the Wii.
 
Yes and no, I think. It's true you can't dispute that it's $500-600, but some people don't think it's as expensive and they won't care about the price when they buy it. :/
However, most people won't think that way, so in a way, that is kind of a fact.

They did really hurt themselves with the GC. Not only with the "Kiddie Image" but with the third party. They were really hurt when you had games like Halo for the XBox and had Final Fantasy for the PS2 (I know Halo isn't third party, but it was a game that hurt the GC).
I think that's going to change with the Wii, that and the kiddie image. I mean Wii is for everyone, you got kids, teens, adults, and old people playing (Nitnendo showed up at an AARP event with the Wii and them old people liked it, they liked the idea of being able to play it with their grandkids). You got games like Rayman for maybe the kids, Red Steel and Zelda for the Teens, Resident Evil for the older ones, Trauma Center for maybe the adults, and fishing games or mini-games for the grandparents. So who knows, maybe they will lose the kiddie image.

The way I look at it, parents aren't going to go buy their kid a $600 game system unless that kid really asks for it. And when they won't be able to find one they might go for the Wii, it's low on price, has that strange new controller, and for the price of a PS3 they can buy a Wii and 7 games. So that hurts Sony.

And yes, you can just randomly add me to your LJ for no reason. XD

I agree with that though, especially with my parents. They wouldn't spend $600 on me for a present at all, ever. x_X;; And even with the kid really asks for it, they might not get it, depending on the parents and the financial situation.
And indeed, I can see that hurting Sony, especially this Christmas. There won't be any to buy.

...speaking of Wii, I really want one, like now. D: But it's going to be hard getting it over here, since AAFES sucks and only got, like, 2000something for all of the overseas bases. It'll be like the PS3 over here! It's crazy >_>;;
Good news is my stepdad doesn't want to get it anytime soon, so it doesn't matter for me. I'd hate to be the people who want one over here.

My parents loved my brother asking for a $400 dollar XBox 360. They'd flip if we asked for a $600 dollar game system, plus two games ($120), plus another controller ($50 I think....).

Just go to a Wal-Mart or something, you might find a Wii there. XD

At least my mom is just like "no" when I ask. XD

Sorry, but the only Wal-Mart around here is German, so the Wii won't work with our NTSC TVs and it's not even there yet until sometime in December. D: *can't remember the European date*
Well, not unless I got airplane tickets and got one, or if I ordered online, but I lack the money. XD; I'll just wait, I guess.
