There are reliable things out there, like the sun comming up. If it goes nova then you won't really care if it's reliable or not. XD

Hah, my day rocked, I accidentally knocked down a sixth-former during soccer and gapped it to science. Dang, I never ran that fast since....

As I've said before, you let the other segments load in other tabs/windows while you watch the current one - it ain't all that confusing.

Umm, this may sound like a dumb question, but when you say that you had chilli for dinner, does that mean you ate chilli peppers, or you had some sort of dish by that name. Cause I've never heard of a dish called "chili".

[Random] Holy crap, just got done reading an eight page thread at another board about "New Atheism" that basically became "Atheism vs Religion" and damn, I haven't been that impressed in a long while. XD

Not by the fact that it was pitting them against each other, it originally wasn't that, but two people, one from each side, came in and what impressed me so much is that I've never actually seen anyone defend religion as smart as one of the posters has. He posted a lot of stuff I've never even thought of before. I just like the fact that for someone who's only 24, he speaks like he's got the knowledge of a lifetime with him.
 
Well this guy has probably studied religion and/or philosophy.

Cause I've met a number of priests and teacher's who have studied then topics, and to me, it seems like they always know a lot, and they seem to have deep insight.

Also, what is "New" Atheism? How is it different from "Old" Atheism?

hehehe, and I've got to go to church in half an hour.
 
Why do people have so many religions can't everyone all believe there is one god and is teh same to everyone.
 
New Atheists is pretty much a religion, in the fact that they're not passive. They actively try to get people to view things from their religious standpoint.

Frankly, I think that there are different religions for a reason~ There could be mutiple gods too, but I'm Christian, so no matter which way you slice it- God comes out top.

They have a complete lack of respect for those with different beliefs.

Well "whore" isn't censored, so there really isn't anything wrong with it.

hmmm, I was wondering myself about that.

But the word itself isn't blocked by the filter, so I deemed it to be acceptable in my signature.

However you are right it is very distasteful, specially since most definitions of the word refer to sexual acts.

Maybe I should have kept it as a personal joke ^^;;

And if it bothers you that much, chances are, it bothers many other members as well. So I shall consider removing it *edit* or I could do a poll!

...

I myself consider unicorns to be very visible ... so you're wrong :P
