Yeah...nevermind that, Jack. I figured it out already. And your answer was wrong as well...

64ft/s is the velocity it's going, not the height or time.
Oh, son of a-- *shoots self with a Desert Eagle .50 Action Express*

Can someone help me with my CALCULUS homework? I needs help! With CALCULUS.

Here in a America, our averages are on a 4.0 scale...so when I saw you post 88.5...I was like...

omfg...Kura will take over the world...
I'm laughing out loud. It'd be like Napoleon Bonapart all over again. A little person taking everything over.

And maybe I could help you with your calculus.

._. I want a scholarship to University.. so I'm working hard~
Art: 95
Fashion: 86
Video Graphics Production (Commtech): 96
English: 77

bah ._. I wanna get into animation~

Actually, Kura only has, like, a 3.5 average using the 4.0 scale, judding from the info she gave us.

If you're in Algebra 2? Sorry...maybe in a few years you'll be able to do calc...or pre-calc.

Crap, I could teach your math class. I don't really need help with Calc either, I just wanted to be a cocky show off and tell everyone that I'm in

CALCULUS!!!

That's 88.5%...80% is 3/5, and 75% is 3/4

so yeah, 88.5 is about 3.55

Well I may take it next year. But I wont like it XD.

Derivatives, Integrals, Optimization

oh...you'll love calculus O_o;;

o.o I do?~ @@ 88.5/100~ ._. Doesn't that come out to lyke.. 3.8? Not 3.5?
I don't think so. 3.8 is when you divide it 88/5 by 100, which doesn't put it into America's 4.0 scale.

A 95 in Art would be an A = 4.0
An 86 in Fashion would be a B = 3.5
A 96 in VGP would be a A = 4.0
A 77 in English would be a C = 2.0

Add those numbers up and divide it by 4 (since you have four classes) = 3.375 or 3.4.

XD I dont know wat you just said right there. But the thing I'm good at is Long Division *_*;

Why is there math talk in here anyway...? Eww...
This place was dead so I asked Jack for help on my Algebra 2 homework. Then Kura showed up and started bashing her shukun's homework habits. Then Dakota showed up and asked for help on his Calculus. Then we began to butcher Kura's grade. And now, here we are.

D-- I'd help you with calculus... but I have a feeling you're farther into it than I am. ><; We're just on derivitives of polynomial functions~

Yeah...we're on 3D cartesian graphs right now...

This is the way I went through calculus last year...*is in college pre-cal right now, which is basically calc II >_<*

FIRST they taught us derivatives...
then they taughts us the power rules
some other stuff
we spent forever on integrals, reiman sums and the wierd greek "E" looking symbol blah blah blah
then optimization
then anti derivatives
introduction of the Z AXIS! BLER! (for 3d graphs)

then...I think that was it...

Thank you for the explanation, Simon. I <3 algebra II~

I don't understand the 4.0 system... at least, the one where the levels of your classes contribute. It's so confusing. ><;

Ooh, I learned the powers rule this morning~! I wish I had known that for the quiz we had yesterday though...

Man Dakota for using such big words like that I must say that you must be really intelligent. I stink at Algebra and all the other sequels of it 1,2,3,4....so much algebra *__*;

Wow, that is the EXACT same reaction I had when I first saw it. I was like

"OMFG!?!? Why didn't you teach this to us BEFORE you made us use that stupid f(x) -f whatever crap!?!?"

Yeah...you'll use the power rule a lot...then the reverse power rule for antiderivatives. Have fun with that one...
