Jorge, you deserve better...though at least this gives you a chance to look at the real meaning of Thanksgiving; I can't stand the people who call it "Turkey Day"...it's like calling Christmas "Presents Day" <_<; Basically, the stereotype takes over and the meaning disappears...nobody even knows the hardships of America's first settlers anymore, they think they flew over on a rainbow and played their PSPs while the Indians used their magic to make a Super Kroger spring forth from the ground.

If you want, we can try to make you feel better tomorrow...this is a tough time of year for a lot of people, I get angry when they show the idealism of Thanksgiving too much. There's such a harsh reality that advertisers don't know about.

I'd rather give my food to a Rwandan family; that's how one should celebrate their own fortune and abundance, by trying to pass it on.

My dad use to call it that...there's a reason why I don't really talk to him anymore. That's one thing about my family, most of them forgot everything about hard work and people they need to help out. My aunt's leaving my grandmother alone with a bunch of kids so she and my older cousin can go out to a party. My mom's going to go stay with her so she at least won't have to be by herself.

I'd actually go out and help people, but I'm not old enough apparently. So I just end up giving money wherever I can to people that need it, or seem like they need it.

I hate that you have to be burdened with the selfishness of others during what should be a time of togetherness...at least you've escaped what they've fallen into.

Not much I can do about. I seriously think when I'm older that I'll lose all contact with every one of them, my dad, aunts, uncles, brother probably my mom as well if it gets bad enough.

Might as well get some pizza.

Well, if it gives you more peace, you have every right to. I doubt I'll talk to my father when I leave home, and I already don't talk to any of my other relatives, minus one aunt.

Pizza > Turkey...honestly, it's true.

Uncle Larry won't answer anything, so I'm not playing against him anymore =/

Yeah, not really what I want...but it's my family, so there isn't much of a choice. Unless I wanna start acting like them and that's the last thing that I want, ever.

...and yeah it does. I wanted to try and cook something, but I think I'll probably eat leftovers or something tomorrow.

And me and my brother use to play that all the time...even though I'd lose half the time, I was only like 6 or 7, but it was always fun.

Well...I'm sorry there's no way out for you this year...things sound like they're going to be better for you eventually, though...

I didn't get final Jeopardy right...it was hard though, it was basically one of those pick-a-country-and-see-if-you're-right deals.
