Um...generic? I guess? I don't want to rag on it, but man was it pretty repetitive

DBZ is the standard for shonen. Of course its generic as hell for most people.

I do agree that it was repetetive. I personally LOVED it till Freiza saga. But I plan to watch it all again as DB Kai soon. Would be nice without fillers. :D Naruto, in its current arc, had become much worse than DBZ was at its lowest point. It picked up quite a bit recently but I personally think Kishi dropped the ball when it comes to the manga after Pain arc.

I really liked the Five Kage Summit arc which was directly after the Invasion of Pain, Danzo is easily one of the best characters in the series. The rest of it has been the war and fights that will end the war, has been incredibly draggy but there have been decent parts. It was also pretty inevitable that this is how the seris would end, not sure how he ''dropped the ball'' really.

Oh, I liked Danzo and his fight with Sasuke. That's about it, really.

And dropped the ball as in the manga's general quality dropping down after it. I just started disliking it more than liking it from that point onwards. And I absolutely hated the dragged out parts of the war and the constant flashbacks. But it has been better for a while and I'm enjoying it again. :p

On another note, I can't stop listening to this. Makes me want to watch the anime.

I like the Watamote opening but not for the song or animation. I just like how fitting it is for the main character in the show.

I am aware of the character's story. Or details of it. So I know what you mean. That's part of the reason why I like it, yes.

I heard Naruto Shippuden 357 got delayed? Darn it. And I was so looking forward to the OP too.

I'm quite excited for No Game No Life. Saw the PV in HD today - looks really, really colorful. Leik dem character designs and eyes.

Me too. I think this could be in TOP 3... probably best anime beside Mahouka and Gaworare.

Other than sports shows I haven't really loved a lot of Madhouse projects of late. They certainly haven't put out any Monster, One Outs or Becks recently.

But then again, it ain't like I'm only gonna watch Naruto. I have 160+ shows on my 'plan to watch list'. Will watch those before lol. So you might be right.

Eh... Naruto. I ended at 222th episode of Shippuuden and I soooo don't want to continue :/

As much as I want to, I can't. Can only afford to dedicate two hours worth of time and money (no pc right now so I watch anime in cafe) on anime. Any more and I feel depressed lmao.

These 2 hours will probably increase to 5 or 6 once college starts. :D and during my holidays before college and after these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ exams? I'll probably marathon multiple two cour series in a few days. :p

I can't watch 2 series simultaneously, whenever I do that, it always fails for me, big time as the temptation to watch one series more than another is too damn high.

I watch a lot of things as they air so my watch list will always be pretty large. As for non airing I tend to have one long show and another shorter series on the go at the same time, sometimes a mid-length episodic series as well to dip into whenever I feel like it.

Only watching Urusei Yatsura atm so I guess I'll pick up something new tonight.

One Outs looks great. Baseball and gambling, I like it. Will probably watch that.

I certainly approve of One Outs, great show. That being said I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had a genuine understanding of the more complex rules of the sport. Everything I know about baseball has been picked up from watching Major and a coupl eof other series.
