Not really sure about this... Since we got anime original ending it will be kinda hard to connect new season...
Plus... it's Bones. They don't like sequels. They did sequel to DtB and... how it went =D (I personally liked it but 98% DtB fans wouldn't agree xD)
 
I need to see it. I will watch it. Does it make me an M? Guess so. :p

InuYasha already got booted a month ago for Symbionic Titan, since InuYasha probably hit the end of its 167 episode run and they also lost the airing rights to it.

I wonder if Yu Yu Hakusho or something else will be taking Space Dandy's spot in the lineup or if we'll see a return to the 6 hour lineup while we wait for the summer half of Space Dandy to roll around.

I lost interest in Dandy after the 6th or 7th episode. Once I realized there was no streamline plot and it was just one-off plot episodes, I gave up on it lol.

I would love to see Yu Yu Hakusho make a return to television. I love that anime so much. One of the first animes I watched as a kid along with Dragon Ball back when it was Kid Goku and Bulma. xD
 
Episodic anime aren't really bad. :[

Anyway, read the part of log horizon light novel where Shiroe meets Nureha. I don't think I am a fan of the LN Shiroe. Prefer the anime version of him.

It isn't bad to have an episodic series. It's just that it feels like a very western thing to do to make a cartoon where every episode is a completely different plot like The Simpsons or Spongebob lol.
With anime, I'm so used to a series having a plot where there is a goal that the characters are trying to reach before the mangaka calls it a finale.
 
Well, I still haven't seen space dandy yet but I've heard people say it has an overarching plot which loosely connects the episodes? I mean, Bebop was episodic too, right? But it still had a plot. :p

whatever be the case, I'll probably check out space dandy later.
 
First season of Dandy had a few really good episodes but a lot of ones I was indifferent to. Will certainly watch the second batch of episodes in Summer.

I believe each episode is in a different dimension/reality so it is a fair bit different to Bebop in that respect.
 
Well, I read only a bit but was turned off by Shiroe being portrayed as one who does get affected by Nureha's external beauty. The Shiroe from the anime was someone I always thought was, to a degree, invulnerable to charms of the opposite sex. But then I read the LN and he's all 'It was tempting. He wanted to kiss her. Being near her made him feel uncomfortable. His cheeks burned up' or whatever that crap was. I prefer the adaptation version of Shiroe to what little I read of the source material, really.

But maybe it is just me being used to the one I've known for a while. Idk, if the second season somehow messes up, I'll read all the LNs I guess.

What? o.O Wtf? That's seriously weird portrait of Shiro o.O I wanted to read LN but now I don't feel like that now o.O
 
Pupa manga's actually readable. The anime is atrocious.

And yeah, Satoshi. It was just off-putting. He seemed so...different. I know some people aren't happy about NHK-E censoring and changing stuff from the LN but I, for one, think that they're doing a good job. But I heard S2's content is more action oriented - I don't mind them censoring stuff like Nureha's background

Her character class in the game says 'courtesan' too, iirc :p
