From the top of my head: Dance in the Vampire Bund, Monogatari, Tsukuyomi Moon Phase, and Negima!?.
Oh, Negima had vampire loli as well...?

Why do people think 'moe' is a a genre?
Because it's moe to think that way.

Yuri is better when it isn't a SOL comedy or stupid action thing. Would take a YuruYuri s3 mind.
YuruYuri s3 is pretty much confirmed.

If the mainstream western anime audience had any power on what got animated I'd probably have to quit new anime.
*prays*
Please, make this happen!

And you should stop being rude, laptrap.

Saw No Game, No Life today. So damn colorful, oh my god. I like the art style and dem colors and dat animation. There's definitely loli pandering in a few scenes but mehh it is labelled ecchi for a reason.

Gonna watch a few episodes of Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo before I sleep.

I was not expecting such a colourful palette for the artwork, but it was definitely eye candy porn-worthy. Though, the boobage in the preview has me second-guessing this series already >>;;

Oh my god it is tagged as a freakin' ecchi anime on MAL fgs. If an 'ecchi' anime wouldn't have boobies then I'm not sure what will. :/ I think you should drop it, Vanille Sky. If you dislike boobies, I think you really should.

I just hope madhouse continues with the glorious visuals. And doesn't rush it like they apparently did with Mahou Sensou.

Netto acting like a brooding teenager doesn't bother anyone else? As a mod he should be setting some kind of example, surely.

Anyway, I thought NGNL was ♥♥♥♥e so you guys have fun with it.

>mahouka
>ngnl
>mahou sensou
>loli grave digger
>various western superhero crap
>btooom

If it wasn't for Daiya no Ace and Ippo this studio would be awful now.

99% of the stuff we watch is ♥♥♥♥e in your eyes anyway so I'm not even gonna bother commenting on that. If watching more anime and becoming 'experienced' makes a person unable to enjoy stuff like in your case, I never wanna outgrow my 'noob' phase in anime.

Also if Netto's brooding annoys you then just ignore it. You don't need to post your discontent here. I dislike plenty of people and plenty of stuff they say. But I don't go around posting about it. Not always, anyway.

ANYWAY, heard good things about Sakurasou. Hoping it is good. -goes to watch episode 1-

XD I don't have a particular hate towards cleavage, I would just rather keep away from ecchi, but those graphics are alluring. Mahou Sensou, right from the first episode disappointed my expectations; like you said, it felt rushed. I'm not entirely sure how the rest of the series went since I dropped it after like 10 minutes; the animation quality was terrible compared to what I imagined \:

Well, it IS ecchi. So you'll have to bear with it if you wanna continue watching. For the plot or the visuals. :p

I never saw Mahou Sensou. Don't plan on doing so anytime soon either after hearing how terribly rushed it was.

Also, Madhouse is handling HxH too, laptrap. That is good stuff.

As an actual brooding teenager myself, I'd prefer someone to tell me politely when I'm perceived as annoying rather than not so politely. The "don't like it, don't listen to/read it" argument is usually a pretty bad one, but I think it should be able to apply when it comes to people. It's especially easy here in a forum environment since one can just skip over posts entirely.

Still yet to try NGNL. But I could enjoy pretty much anything if it looked really good. It's a perk of working with visuals I guess.

Raine, if you haven't seen it already, I think you'd like Kyousougiga.

Ah! Thank you for the recommendation :D I've definitely heard of it, but I'm not familiar with what it's about. First thing I noticed was that the majority of the cast are females, but then the saving grace of at least one male character voiced by Suzumura Kenichi makes me interested :3 Oh, it's an ONA? Thought it was a full length series...Even more reason to watch!

I dunno what you folks want me to be. I tried to be serious but then some didn't think it was appropriate for the board. I tried to be easy going but that typically gets me ignored 99% of the time. At least now people actually acknowledge what I post.

If you want me to be less of a brooding teenager then...let it be so.

Sure is tough being me, isn't like I enjoy 15 - 20 airing shows every season and still like a lot of the big powerlevel shounen series or anything.

I don't see why you need to change yourself for others, Netto.

And Kyousougiga recently got a full series by TOEI. Was one cour iirc. On my PtW.

I don't know, laptrap. You dislike series more often than not. I like 95% of the stuff I watch. For you it seems as if it is more like 30 or 35. Again, baseless assumption, but that's just what it seems like.

There really isn't any reason to have a spat over this. I just like venting here at times. Sorry Lappy if it gets annoying. I like reading your comments as it does keep me up to date as to what a certain segment of the anime watching population is saying. Such data points are something that is hard to pick up when everyone likes a certain thing.

I might miss a truly good series if I just go with what piqued my interest (which I mention usually just is based off synopsis)

And naw, I'm typically just a slow person in terms of emotional growth. Its been a pretty uneven one as I try to balance things between different populations.

Yeah, let's just skip over drama. Not good for anyone.

How do you guys usually pick up anime? Synopsis? Looking at the animation studios? Hype? Looking at previews/trailers? For me, it is a combination of every one of the above. :3
