I don't think this is standard but it works for me:
Gliscor@Choice Scarf
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 ATK / 136 SPD / 116 HP
Earthquake
Stone Edge
U-Turn
Thunder Fang
Despite the lack of Impish Nature and Defense EVs, it takes hits exceptionally well. I'm sure someone else can give you a more defensive set-up. Just avoid Ice-Attacks because to Gliscor, they're the devil. X.X
I love Tangrowth too. I use that standard set for that as well. They both make fantastic Physical Walls. So you're set either way.

Well, yes, but no. Forry is a physical wall and spiker too...blastoise is also a rapid spinner, but there is quite a difference between the 2. Sure all pokemon are different, but forry is MAINLY a physical wall, not mainly a spinner. Rapid Spin is a very good option, but it isn't forry's purpose.. Hope that made sense...and actually gliscor>tangrowth if it's a heracross counter you're looking for...by far.

I actually should do gliscor since heracross is a huge problem, but then there is a even bigger ice weakness I know tangroth is but at leat ice isn't 4x stronger, I'll have to think this over more...

Ugh...I have to leave for basketball again...gliscor wants impish and...uh, good moves? Uturn and EQ would be nice...but I can't think of anything. Somebody else can do this one, my brain is off today...so yeah, hope that helped.

Yes that is very true if someone sent in a good ice pokemon then you fail!so ya kinda need an ice resister/killer!

More like water resist. Most ice beamers are water pokes.

Blastiose seems good for ice types...
t-punch Magmotar kills water

starmie resists water/ice and has grass knot, but is fragile
Lapras, can resist both types and w/ water absorb seems fit

What you are missing is that a counter is: A pokemon that can switch in on the target, and have a favorable matchup and would probably win a 1-1 fight. Not exactly right, but you get my idea.
The thing is, magmortar can't resist surf, and thunderpunch is stupid on it actually...magneton is the best boltbeam counter. That resists the icers.
