Yeah ... but ... 8? Well, hopefully nothing bad happens to you Sarah. 9and skipping two grades ... wow)

Is it just me, or has society become more lenient on the issue of talking to strangers .... or is that just the internet? :P

Cause I know my little brother was scared out of his wits for a while when they had a "stranger danger" talk at his school XD

My sister let's me use HER computer. My parents are never home.

So in other words, your parents don't even know you're on the net?? o.o

...stranger danger? Is that when they tell people that everyone on the internet is some perv? XD

Nah, just not to talk to strangers.

In real life y'know, cause, older people who offer candy are usually some sort of threat to your well being. :P

As well as those who offer free rides home.

It had nothing to do with the net.

But anywho, he was really freaked out about it all. Like, I recall one time when he jumped at someone ringing the doorbell. He's all good now though.

From all that you hear on the news these days one would guess that most of the people on the internet are pervs. Though most of the controversy comes from MySpace.

And not even because it's Rupert Murdoch, whose media corporation makes a big fuss about child predators, who owns Myspace — but because it's so popular and relatively new (2003). Sheesh.

What?! You mean to tell that they're not safe to take stuff from? What about all that "a stranger is a friend you haven't" met crap in school? Oh, my life's all been a waste.

Wow. They must have really put a good scare into him.

I don't ever remember our school having a "Stranger Danger" program.

Rupert Murdoch?! I thought that Tom dude created MySpace. o.o

CW, I was reading your blog on Freshmen and how the new class in your school is so good. From what I hear, my high school's freshmen class is completely opposite. Apparently they are nothing but trouble (Drugs, Alcohol, etc.). It's one of thhe larger classes to go through our school in a while, too. I'm glad I got out of there before they invaded.

Our school never had it, really. All of the stranger evasion programmes prior to child predator scares came from the parents.

And Kevin, Tom did create it, but Murdoch bought it the summer before last.

Alot of PC's members from what I've seen lately are 12-14.

It's kind of interesting to see as time goes by, more and more kids younger than 10 years old bopping around forums. It's amazing how quickly technology becomes a part of our lives now.
