I don't know if this has been said or not (I'm not reading 10 pages just to see :P). But maybe we could have a rule like we have for governors here in Virginia- that you can't serve two consecutive terms, but you can serve non-consecutive terms. So Brit and FG can't run again this election, but next election they can. Just an idea... =/
And for the record, yes, I'm planning on running this time. Even though I don't stand a chance. :P
That was what I was thinking. Except, I think Mods should have to wait two terms to run again.

mods should not be able to run at all. they already have their shiny names with lotsa power.. so its unfair to the other 6000 members who wants a chance to have a bright and shiny name in their profiles.

give them a chance!! er no... give ME a chance!!

*scoff* who said my name was gonna be 'bright and shiny'? lol... mods should be able to win; the people who want to be president for a shiny name are weird. i want to be president so i can help PC. *shrugs* just my opinion.

Yes, but many of those Mods wanted to run when they were still normal members. Besides, it doesn't matter that they have power, Mods are still members just like you and me, and they want there own unique user group too. xD

Well, if people wouldn't want mods as presidents they would just not vote for them... mods should have the opportunity to become presidents. Some people were already planning to run for presidents before they got modded - is this fair that they have to give up their ambition only for their modship??

Hm...*looks at first post of thread* Hm...I wonder what that means XD

Anyways, mods shouldnt be able to run for pres. It's just so unfair XD Mods are so popular. So if a mod runs, of course people are gonna vote for them. And then they're gonna win. and you're gonna see us normal members in the corner crying because mods took our only chance at fame on PC XD

Dark Sora makes a good point, but seeing as there are so many members out there who agree with him, there are many people who are going to vote for normal members instead of the Mods. So there would still be a good balance between members who vote for other members, and members who vote for Mods. Besides, in all elections, there are going to be popular people, and people who are overshadowed, usually the popular peopl are people who are already well known. =/

Mods should be able to run. Sure, they already have a different color name and privileges that regular members don't, but it's not like the president has any power. Plus, there's more recognition with the president title- there's only one president, while there are, what, twenty or thirty mods? I just think that mods should be entitled to run as well. =/

I got a mod(+)'s support so far.>.>

Moderators are known by everyone, giving them an unfair advantage because people will think voting for staff will give them perks and power like (reverse)blackmailing. So staff shouldn't run.

I agree, even if a Mod did become President, your not handing them any more power. Also, like I already said, the mods also want to stand out with their own color.

see? dark sora agrees as well. mods names are all bright and shiny, and allowing a normal member to become president ... dudes we need some time in the spotlight ourselves. the mods usually own the entire stage.

Not true. Not all mods are how you say... "popular" Look at me. You may think Im popular, but in reality I am not. I know that I wasn't even taht knwon and still aren't known all around PC since ive been modded and when i last runend for pres last year. And us mods are just members with duties. We have no power on the board except for those that are assigned to us on the fourms we mod.

Pfft Oh please XD You and every other mod are popular.

Oh really...? *_*
Well Im not gonna get into a fight with someone I don't know but Just because I know around 20 people here tah tare in my friends list doesn't mean i know them, I know a few. Out of like 5,000 or more members. And ten of thsoe are staff. Tahts about it. So i doubt im taht popular. And as I said. We are just members as you guys. Just because we are mods doesn't exclude us form the rest.

I agree with you and Kevin.Wouldnt it be better to let the members run for one election and let the mods run in the next election,

Not trying to say anything bad, but MD doesn't it taht in every post you make you agree with anything anyone says? And Wouldn't allowing mods to run in the next be like the same as now? Since come next election people are gonna have the same problem.

I really think , that elections would be only for members . But if mods like it a lot and , really want to run then they should i guess. Maybe an award for best mod or something must be done , and you get a color title and that stuff. And members and staff should vote but not for themselves.
