No, but the way you've been posting is making it seem absolute as if your word is the last say on it. You could ease up on wording.

@ Kylie:
1) It's not about getting a coloured name in general, it's about getting your own user group with your own colour, and the title of President.
2) The President gets a larger PM box than mods do.

1) You already are part of a usergroup that most people won't ever get the chance to be, that alone should be enough for you.
2)Ty ATM we don't need PM boxes that large due to the report system being the way it is. So giving a member a larger PM box isn't such a big deal.

People, stop complaining. Andy said that we're allowed to run, there's absolutely no need to smear it in our faces. We know that most of you don't want us to run, so please, stop it.

If that's the case, then as Greg so wonderfully worded it. I want to run as well, I dropped out last year, so I wouldn't mind being able to run now. You all had a problem with staff running, well I'm staff and you're allowing staff to run. So hey, I'm in.

Now that's over with, Presidents don't (and never will) become mods. That is, of course, unless you want the higher staff picking who becomes President. They're the only ones who choose mods, and they only do that for good reason (most of the time, anyway). Modding somebody just because people voted for them is just ridiculous.

Brittany was modded after she became President, so that just disproves that idea.

I don't really mind letting the higher staff run either. It'd be inconsistent, but still, it wasn't really fair to deny them last time either. Oh well, there's my last vote gone.

Not at all. I meant that one doesn't also become a moderator by simply being elected as president. Becoming a moderator and being voted in as president are two unrelated things.

being president is just another thing between the spot of members and mods. if u get there it shoudlnt mean that your chances for being mod goes down. it will be unfair then.

I don't know about Britt, but I know FG was going to be a mod ever since I saw her work and the way she standed out from otehrs. And I think that she was being considered way before she became VP.
And I don't think thatjust because you are Pres or VP you will automatically become a mod. You are just the same as any other member and if you stand out for the rest Im sure that the admins will consider you.

er.. like presidential elections do not increase ur chances to be mod. it dont decrease.. but it increases it by a VERY lil percent in my opinion... so its not a big deal.

PElecs are like as i said before.. a chance to become more popular in the position between mods and members.

JK you know you really do conflict with yourself? And doing so making yourself look bad.
Here is a few quotes (that I made in my first reply but some how you totally missed it).

In this post you said you let Mods run. Yet I just saw "Andy said you can run, it's the end of the story. ^_^". Now who said Mods could run? Was it you or me? You just used my reply to get what you want.

I'm going by what hte head adminly person told me. ^_~

This reply is when Claire and you was talking about the date this should take place. Now you said that you are going to go with whatever Steve says because he is higher then all of us. Then why are you going with my reply saying Mods can run?

Now tell me how come you liked what Steve said when it was in your favor. But when he isn't in your favor you brush him off like he said nothing?
He said Staff can't run so why are you letting Mods run JK?
You told Claire that you was going to go with Steve because he is higher then Claire. So what's wrong with Steve going over me? he said no Staff running yet you bring up that I say it's fine and you run off saying you got an ok for Staff to run. Just dosen't sound right to me.
