But Rhyperior is still extremely weak to those types, and I know that because I always KO Palmer's Rhyperior with my Espeon's Grass Knot.

No he doesn't... We need a 2 stage Electric type to counter the Fire...

I vote for Manectric... 3rd stage to be first Elec/Dark typing... THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!! Since we are upgrading Hoenn it makes sense... Except Magcargo is Johto but most so far are Hoenn based...

Yeah that would be amazing! I love the idea, Elec/dark Manetric evo FTW!

You're missing the point. As far as I know, nothing can make Magcargo useful, with or without an evolution. With Rhyperior's ability, and the fact that it can learn Rock Polish plus its massive attack, its really something to be messed with in the right conditions.

Well it's evolution can have Solid rock and Rock polish and be given massive defense...

Rhyperior is still Ground/Rock so it's still extremely weak to those types.

And I agree with rocky505: Magmar, Electabuzz and Piloswine didn't need evolutions.

I wonder what's next? (a Jynx evo? *shudders*).

A Jynx Evo would be Awesome :D!
Actually Rapidash has the same base stat total as Pinsir...and people have wanted a evolution for that pokemon for a long time...but then again they wanted it to be like Scyther's...

Well Heatran isn't Magcargo now is it :P
I want a evolution of Magcargo so it can be more useful in battle, and maybe it's type can be like Heatran's :P
 
Well Scyther didn't get a boost in BST when it evolved into Scizor it just mixed up it's stats so maybe they can do the same for Rapidash.

Poor Magcargo...you practically are saying it's doomed to be a under used pokemon forever :(...
 
A Jynx evolution is long overdue in my opinion. Electabuzz, Magmar, and Tangela all got evos, so why not Jynx. There has been some pretty great fanart/speculation as to what she would evolve into.
