5th Gen Official Rumours Thread

I'm liking the sound of the Jynx and Golduck evolutions. I just hardly believe it. Too many rumors are popping up without sources. It makes for good discussion and speculation but it gets a little old, especially when they start to contradict themselves.
 
A Jynx evolution would be good!

"Bossduck" however o.o these Romanisations are pretty poor, I hope that's not the english name.

(On the Jynx subject, it kind of was a version exclusive as you could not find it in Yellow version at all, despite being in R/B/G by trade :3)
 
Chances are most of these rumors are 100% false. I wouldn't take anything PokeJungle says seriously.

  • Golduck will get an evolution named "Bossduck" (Bosudakku) if its traded with the item "Aqua Booster" (just like Magma Booster/Elec Booster).
  • Jynx will evolve in a similar manner, evolution named Rachiirudo if its traded holding the item "Chilled Booster".
Please keep in mind that I do not expect this to be real information. But IF more "Booster" items appear who do YOU want to see get an evolution? I think in this case Golduck is kind of an arbitrary choice and doesn't fit in with Magmar/Electabuzz/Jynx.

I find this sprite of Registeel very ironic considering that it's based on a Hebrew myth...but then again Hitler was part Jewish himself...

Oh wow. Of course, those clay things, then it does the Nazi salute, that must have been really offensive :laugh:

No to Golduck and Jynx evo. They are perfectly fine as they are, especially Golduck who should have been /Psychic anyway.

Also, what's this whole Fire/Lightning/Ice thing, I tried researching it but didn't find anything good. Also, I don't find that Flying Eevee, even though it's fake.

Hope this is true (except the name Bossduck WTF?)

I also HATE people who say Pokemon is "evil" and try to stop me from playing it one time I say a crazy lady from a church (I am catholic) and she said Pokemon was a sign of the devil? WTF? How is a 5-10 year olds game a sign of the devil? I don't believe her I just keep on playing Pokemon.
Some people are just messed up.

Others who need evos: Magcargo,Mr.mime, Torkoal, Zangoose(& Seviper), Mawile, Sabeleye(I doubt it), Sandslash, Pinsir, Houndoom, Mightyena, Absol, MALE Combee evo, Pachrisu & I could go on probally not all in one gen cause people would complain but ya never know
 
It should be Fire/Lightning/Water not Ice :\

Let's hope you don't go on. D/P/Pt got so much hate because of the amount of evolutions they had. I can only imagine how uptight everyone would be because *gasp* THEY MADE A POKEMON USEFUL! HOW DARE THEY!

It'll probably be Fire/Lightning/Ice because that's the standard formula for most RPGs.

Well I liked the large amount of Evolutions...people hated RSE because it had so little connections to the past gen pokemon...

It just is, someone decided to use it and everyone else said "hey, that sounds cool, let's stick with that!". These are just unwritten rules.

Family friends told me years ago that 'Pokémon' was not derived from 'Pocket Monsters', but 'Pocket Demon'. It... was ridiculous, but I was six.
Long story cut really short, ignore it.

I'll be honest, I probably wouldn't use a Jynx evo. But a Golduck one...
I always thought Golduck was Water/Psychic
I'd certainly see what it's like.

I googled most of the "pokemon is demonic claims" and they are ridicules..
