Official School Ending/ Summer discussion thread for 2004

19.5 more days of School!! I hate Seventh Grade and It shall end soon ^___^ *Makes too many dumb mistakes* I shall be wise in Eigth Grade n.n Yup....

I think that he is not looking forward to it because of all of the teachers getting you prepared for high school. Eigth grade is like the excercise place to get you "in shape" for high school, the teachers pretend to act like "they don't care if you don't hand in your work" because "either way, they get paid", but then when people don't do their projects they give you one hour lectures. -_-;
 
8th grade you can sit around and do nothing and never study and still get 80+

In high school you work you butt off and you're barely hanging on to 80 o.o;
(and next year's english teacher is city-famous for giving out a 60 as highest mark in the year ;_; )
 
I am really excited now. I have only 14 days of school left, the last 3 being half days. I can hardly believe that the school year is almost over. I remember the end of August last year when I had to get my picture taken and get my schedule like it was just yesterday. I can't really remember the first day of school though, which was September 3rd. I will be going into 11th grade next year... O_O
 
The final weeks of school are going to pass by quickly for me. After next week, it's just fun..for about..3 weeks. Lots of celebrations and dances. Then we get murdered by finals.
 
Well I'm going to summer school to study for this "entrance" exam I have next year.
Good thing it's only from 10am-2pm.
The rest of the day, I party. :P

Yeah, prom is the dance that you have when you're in the last year of school. Last year in Grade 8, we had a prom, but I hate dances so I just went home right when the prom started. I know that missing the prom is one of the things that I may regret in life, but of well, there is always the high school prom to go to. =P
 
<= still haven't attended a single dance yet in his life, and he'll keep it that way until Grad because he will be forced to go to that one -_-;;

Stupid school host all the dances after school... they're so cool if they're at school time, because I can skip it and go home earlier ^^

LOL, that is exactly why I hate High School dances too! (well, one of the reasons..) Unlike middle school, they don't have them in the middle of the school day, so we can't miss any school. =\ They always have them either after school, or during lunch >_< *shakes fist at the school*

So Frosty, what do you plan to do this summer? Have anything cool planned out?
 
Middle School? What`s that? I only heard of High school and Elementary school.
 
Frosty's List of Summer Awesomeness

1. French 30 Summer-school for one month (or French at grade 12 level to get it over with)

2. Volunteer work at night for both month in the summer, and some in the morning as well in August

3. Study in summer to prepare for Ms. Tuba's reign of evilness... memorize her specific ways of writing essays and what other picky stuff she got (Miss Tuba's slogan of the class: 40% class average)

4. Chat with people in PC

5. Stay indoor

6. Most importantly of all, continue to spend time with Kairi la~~ <3
