I get out on June 9th, like Cosmo, but unfortunately, I have a shortened summer. I go back to school on August 16th I believe. Bleah.....
But, at least I get off in May something next year!
lol, that doesn't seem very shortened seeing as you still have more then 2 month of summer holidays....

Nick, I guess that's cool....

No matter how early or late we get out of school, we always return in September. I've never had a year that I had to go back in August. I thought we were going to be out May 28th at our school; but, due to stupid New England snow days, we got pushed back to June 4th. It's going to be easy from here on because on the week of the 17th (excluding that day, though) I come in school at 9:50 for those four days because of the sophomores taking the MCAS test! Woo! Then it's finals after that week...^_^

That really stinks going in on August 16th, Jordan...terrible, lol. ^_^;

Yeah, but not cooler than Asia.
Yea, well, it depends on where you visit in China. I have to a goto a poor little village to visit grandparents speaking a language I could hardly understand bringing to me all the shame in the entire world that one could possibly bear. Then I would be required to just sit there and do nothing in this old room. But, since I'm kind of evil... I can't sit still in a room. It was really more ridiculous then this sounds. I want to walk around. My two years in China did teach me something. That I'm impatient and adventurous. x_x; Oh, whatever, this year will be different, but better, it'll be a week shorter. =)

LOL, I guess I shouldn't take my trips for granted. I am forced to be active at my dad's house. It's annoying.
Yea, you shouldn't.

That's what I did last summer in Vietnam, always thinking about PC or how I miss Canada, heh, it was quite funny... I had this beautiful dream one night too.

I think we get out on June 14th, and then there's exams until the 28th or so. That's alright by me, though--I'm technically done Calculus and Physics, as I wrote my IB exams last week. Now there's time to actually practice my clarinet, I hope. x.o LOL

I'm really hoping to go to Florida this summer, but it probably won't happen. I'll probably only be on trips that are to places in my state. Mall of America and Valleyfair are two. I might be going to the Minnesota State Fair this year too. I usually only go to it about once every few years, but it might become an annual thing this year. I went last year too. It's really fun, although at night, it's easy to get lost, and your feet really hurt. Also, I usually only go to Valleyfair about once every few years, but I'm going there more often now. About three or four years ago, my one of my aunts along with two cousins came with. Then last year, just my family went. For this summer, we're planning to go with my aunt and cousins again. It's super fun then. (Btw, Valleyfair is an amusment park) I wonder if Dakota has been there. He lives in Minnesoa too. :P

Yeah, but we usually go back in about 10 days later. You begin to realize just how long that is after you return to school hehe...

That's what is going to happen to us, Chrystie. We're getting out on about May 28th, like you said, next year. That will be fun! At least we still don't have to go back to school in the teens of June. When I used to buy school lunch a long time ago, it was a little embarassing when I would punch my number in, the lunch lady would say "It's your birthday! Yahoo!!"
....at least I got a free cookie though hehe...

It angers me that people at school are allowed to disclose my birthday to other people...when my algebra teacher got a hold of it he forced everyone to sing Happy Birthday to me...boy was that embarassing ._. And I have no idea how anyone ever finds out about my birthday, but somehow they do and end up wishing me a Happy Birthday o_o;;

My birthday is always during the school year... but the last two years it's landed on a half day! It was kinda weird though! But nobody needs to know when it's my birthday unless they already know. I hate when people sing to me. My friend sang to me in the hallway... really badly I might add! It was more embarassing to hear her sing than it was to be sung too! But that's a little mean! My friend was going to tell the chorus teacher to sing to me... but he forgot to sing! Two years in a row! Yay! I don't want everybody to sing to me. I seriously doubt my chorus teacher knows who I am though! That's the only class I have on my last day though... a chorus final!

So true.

10 days can make a lot of difference.

If possible, I might work at McDonalds in the near future so I can get use to meeting different people everyday before my grade 12 year starts. ^__^

snowangel3181988, that doesn't sound like a very good teacher. :\

My birthday is during the school year, but never on a school day. It's on December 24th. I really like it when people wish me happy birthday. Like for this school year, I told someone that was kinda a friend of mine that my birthday was coming up, and the next second the whole class was singing happy birthday to me. :P

Hmmm... what are people's plans for 4th of July (if you live in the USA)? I'll be going downtown to watch fireworks like I do every year. It has gotten worse every year however, but it's still pretty good. Sometime my family might go down to the twin cities (Minniapolis-Saint Paul) instead for fireworks. We almost did last year. Also, my mom's birthday is on July 10th.

I'm so exited! i passed 9'th grade!! no but really i am in summer now and i passed two grades this year....I love home-school!

Ahh the numbers once again! I don't mind if you type them in... but Snowangel works too... or Ashley if you want...use whichever one you to though.

Anyways yeah I seriously doubt he knows who I am! He doesn't take attendance... we have managers that do that! And I've never heard him address me by name! But I always get an A or A+ in chorus! But then again... it's only chorus...

As for the 4th of July... for the past couple of years we've gone to my mom's cousin's house. And my cousins go too... and so do the people I don't like. But I avoid them! Well anyway, they have a pool there so we usually hang out in there all day and then have a barbaque. It's fun! And we usually see fireworks a few weeks later from a local high school...
