Official Wi-Fi Summer League Discussion Thread

Hey, I'll have to be withdrawn from the Wi-Fi Summer League. My router's Wi-Fi Connectivity is down and I am using my Mother's laptop hooked up with Modem and the Router together, I also have High-Speed internet. So, The wi-fi connection needs only one more step to connect and it fails. Its maybe because of the following reasons:
1. The Wi-Fi was upgraded and
2. So did the router.
3. I need the latest Firmware but,
4. It will not work still. (I am aware of it.)
5. Other thing is that, my computer (laptop) is dying and I don't have money to get a new one. Mostly I am broke so, that includes, getting a new router, a different Belkin-g Router and a the latest firmware I may have to buy.
So, I am out, Bye guys.

Well.
I battled someone and they said my pokemon were hacked and they Dc'd.
I bred and trained my pokemon.
I don't wont to get accused for hacking.
So i'm out of the tournament.

1 - I did not DC.
2 - He had a Crobat that took 50-55% damage when it should have taken at least 98%.
3 - He says that I am a sore loser because I was 'losing', when in fact the score was 4 - 1 with me about to KO his last. (When the DC occured btw)
4 - I offered to restart the whole battle over, then he flared up about how I was being unfare. He wanted to start again with me only having 2 pokemon, when I previously had 4... O_O

Hmmm... I've not been in contact with any LUGIA'S lately need to get some games

I actually think it was a good suggestion. It is slightly "spammy" to post it twice. And if someone lies about the victory the real winner would still show up at the thread to post saying that he won, so we'd know if someone lied. ._.

Taking the time to say "Okay I lost to so-so" "I beat so-so" is spammy? I mean post count doesn't even matter here, so I don't see it as "spammy" at all. I'm talking about inactive people Mario, we do have some members that don't even know this is running that are participating. That's basically what I meant. I just don't see how it's so hard to post a result. ._. Is it really that hard?

Haha I agree with Beach, confirmation on the win/loss is fine, but you don't have to if you don't feel like saying you lost. It doesn't really matter...we're not getting a large amount of results here anyway until Apostle shuffles the groups, drops the no-shows and adds the newcomers.

I mean like... come on now, if someone is so 'sulk sulk sulk' over a loss in a multiple battle format, that's like... move on. If it's single elimination from one battle, I could understand it, but this is multiple battles people. ;D You can't let one battle result get to your head as a competitive player. It's okay to lose guys, if anything, you should get better from losing such battles. :D

The only way to reach success is to fail much more then you win...EVER i mean, i had an extremely close match to ryan and lost embarassingly (my attack missed lol no chance ;-( ) but you know so what...i took my mistakes from Ryan's match and applied them to the 5 in a row victories i've had over at marrilands forums(and beleive me...some of those guys are COMPETITIVE)

And besides my point...everyones got like what, 3/4 of a month left? Get out there and battle guys! so what if you *dont win* honestly winning isn't everything...it's how you learn to be a better trainer with prediction, movesets, switches, and team building, and each and everyone of those skills are required to win.

oh and welcome to Kyogre group Beach Boy =)

I also came here to say this- I'm on vacation right now and wont be open for battles until about monday or tuesday of next week. But ill post if i can get wifi going up around here...
