    Hello, I'm GorzToken...

    I joined this forum because I'm interested in ROM Hacking and just Pokemon in general, I'm no stranger to forums either so I know what to do and what not to do.

    I used to play Pokemon when I was younger, but I lost interest in it for no reason really, maybe I played it too much... I don't know.

    My first Pokemon game was Yellow, which was also my first game ever. I lost my Gameboy Colour and my Yellow Cartridge too, so that sucks...

    My favourite Pokemon are the Dark-Type Pokemon, especially Tyranitar, Absol and Honchkrow.

    I used to play in the NU tier some time ago, around 6-7 months since I've played it. Was #18 in NU at PO. Great success.

We happen to have a Dark Pokemon club in Pokemon Clubs section, so make sure to visit it! And we have one nice server of Showdown called PC Battle Server, right here, if you wanna battle too.     Heya GorzToken, welcome to PC okay! Great to meet you. :)

    Aww, well, it's definitely no uncommon for people to lose interest in the series. I played it a lot so I'm surprised I continued to stay as addicted to it as I did, haha. It's just really fun. :D Starting out with Yellow means you've been a fan for a loooong time; that's awesome, we have that in common. ROM hacks are actually really good at keeping people interested in Pokemon since they bring a fresh new story and map to explore so you chose a pretty great thing to get involved in. My personal favorites are Flora Sky, Shiny Gold, Liquid Crystal and many more. I tend to forget which I've played since are so many, hehe. Are you mostly interested in playing hacks or do you plan on trying to make some? Our Emulation board has a whole slew of useful things you can take advantage of if you want to make a game, from team discussion boards to mods. Be sure to poke your head around there and ask one of its moderators if you need help!

    I'd volunteer to assist you, but I'm not a hacker. I'm always up for helping you find things over there, though, so don't hesitate to message me whenever! We can be friends anytime as well, right? The more the merrier!

    Check out Pokemon Clubs sometime as well, they've got some fun clubs you can join including the popular dark-type fanclub. Clubs are very easy to get into here and provide a warm atmosphere for new members that help you meet others with similar interests, so it's definitely something I recommend. Absol and Honchkrow happen to be two of my favorite darks.. so it's obvious you have great taste.

    That stinks about your GBC and Yellow.. I had my Sapphire stolen when I was a kid. :( But since I was young and stupid, I stole someone else's to replace mine. Shame on me! Have you been keeping up with Pokemon games? If so, have you heard of X and Y yet? What do you think of those?

    I've joined the Dark-Type club thingy.
    I've played pretty much every finished ROM Hack, but I have no idea how to do it myself, though I haven't looked into it that much... My favourite is also Flora Sky, but I also like Victory Fire, Liquid Crystal and Light Platinum.

    I've heard of X/Y, but the only thing I know about it is that there's a new type and that there is a new Eeveelution.

    I'll try to make a ROM Hack though, but it will probably fail since I'm not exactly a computer genius...

    That's unfortunate you lost you're Yelllow Cartridge. :( My first Pokemon game was Red version and I lost min too for a bit and I was devastated. Then I found it but the game cartridge was ruined. D: But enough of that sad stuff, I can always replace it. :) Luckily I still have my Game Boy Color and it still works. :D If you're interested in ROM Hacking that's good cause we're a huge hacking community here. The Emulation section is full of people everyday!It has all sorts of tutorials like Cirno said and if you haven't checked it out you really should!

    Glad to see you've joined my Dark Type club! We are a very big club and one of the longest running clubs at Pokemon Clubs too. Probably because it's always alive and full of discussions. I really hope to see you in there as often and that you're involved in discussions too! I think Pokemon Clubs is a great start to getting settled here and making friends. Our community is like a family to me and I've noticed a lot of people get along here well. We're a friendly bunch so don't be shy and chat around! Browse the forums and find other sections you might like as well. :)

    Yeah X and Y look so amazing so far! I've been keeping up the news intensely and discussing it here as well. I'm very excited for the games, more than I've been in the past. Just so you know the new Eeveelution is named Sylveon and it's really cute! Also the new type you're talking about is the Fairy type and it's super-effective against Dragon types. If you want to know more about the games, just browse the Pokemon X & Pokemon Y section. You can also discuss about all the news revealed so far and speculate on what else might be in the games too.

    Looks like everyone above has explained where you could possibly go around here on PC! But I came to stop by and welcome you personally! Yeah, if you're into battling, but don't want to play Pokémon, the Showdown server that my good friend Windy mentioned above would be your best place to hang around, and I assume you joined my friend AWSquared's Dark-type club based on his post as well. :)

    As a reminder, please be sure to look over our rules here so that you don't wind up getting into a lot of trouble.. you may know forums and such, but please be sure to look over the rules here because there can be rules in which are different here on PC than other forums (such as the rule where posts cannot have less than 25 characters and less than 4 words). We don't like it whenever new members receive infractions either just by not abiding to a small and simple rule :(
