it's NOT changed.. we've always been the Pokemon Community it just reflects the full name now in the title instead of the shortened version.

(done for search engine reasons mostly - better placement and rankings)

OK. It's just that I have always known this place as the Poke(no space)Community and not the Pokemon(space)Community.

if you want to get technical, PokeCommunity(.com) is our domain name, a shortened version of the site name.

Well it's more like we changed the name back. On the old PC it was called "Pok?mon Community". To me I like it better this way. XD

It really doesn't matter. The URL is the same, so there should be no issue. Pokemon Community is the full on name. I would like the see the "The" part of it go cause it's really not needed. Pokemon Community Forums sounds just as good.

Pity...my friends (at first glance) thought it was something to do with 'poke,' considering no one really knows I'm an avid fan of Pokemon.

Usually anywhere "the" in a suitable title for a site, show or whatever never really applies to the cash-in headline so it's usually ignored, yeah I?m stating the obvious but personally it?s not a phase of concern to me even if the title was changed to ?the Poke Community? or ?The Sociable Pokemon Land? just as long as things are all good in the more important aspects, dust bunnies won?t ruin my aspect of things.
