Ok I don't get it.

One thing I'll never get is why the majority of the Pokemon fandom considers this flat.
Seriously, the only reason people think Misty's flat and May's got boobs is because
1. Misty's shirt is baggy. In the Luvdisc hoso, you notice her chest more because her top fits better
2. She holds Togepi so much. Seriously, that was kind of like anti-fanservice.

Sometimes I think the fandom is blind.

I agree although i still thnk that may's are bigger but then again may is a whore and misty might as well be the biggest tom-boy on this side of the earth.

My exact thoughts! Personally, I just say that they're really 13, because their appearance, voice, and personality (sorta) just don't seem to match that of a 10-yr. old. In the original series Pokemon anime, Ash is the only person who seemed 10. I mean, the Japanese dub said Misty was 10 at her debut, but I think she's older, as this would mean she's currently about the same age as Ash (which is odd because Misty has been seen many times to be taller than Ash...)!

If the animators are going to make the main characters 10, they should act/look like 10 year-olds. They shouldn't be Ash's height because Ash is not 10 anymore (he's had at least one B-day). Maybe the narrator got the wrong memo about the debut ages of Misty, May, and Dawn?? :D
 
I like everyone to be ten, I always wanted all my favorite character to be 10 (Good thing EM Megaman and Megaman EXE are 10).

I like their idea of them NOT growing up but the part I hate about it is they ban the episode even if there's even a little violence.

Pokemon would be disgusting if the characters were 16 or something.

It's a children's television show. Has May actually slept with many guys? And Misty had many girly traits.
 
I don't think the animators really care much anymore.

I remember watching an episode of Pokémon recently and the characters were like "They r usin stun spore lols" but they we're being put to sleep by it and it was blue.

Another mess-up for the animators, i suppose.

May stuffs her bra, i bet. The characters will never age and this is confirmed by Nintendo.

There was an image a long while back (I believe it was on the pm.net imageboard) that had line art of multiple characters which had a chest comparison. I believe Ivy ranked #1 and Prima/Lorei ranked #2
 
Oh yeah, I remember that pic, Haruka was actually quite far back in the line, I think...I saw it on bmgf about a year ago. Oh, the #PM Imageboard is down but it doesn't matter anyway because the links were messing up and showig in the sidebar rather than the middle.

Either these are people with too much time on their hands, or people who couldn't get mates in real life.
 
Well, I think they drew the girls like that because unlike crazy America, Japan seemingly doesn't care if kids watch....stuff like that. They let their kids watch violence and what not at an early age, which I think is awesome because over here in America.......gaaaah, I dunno where I'm going with this. I'm just trying to say, that in Japan kids can watch stuff like the Simpsons at like, age 5.
 
Anyone can watch The Simpsons. It's a kid's show unlike South Park, which they could still watch. America's policy on cartoons are that they are for kids.

The Japanese can get away with more in their anime because Japan isn't filled with soccer moms nor does it have a bible belt. Their religions are pretty liberal too so it'd be hard to have a bible belt.

The Simpsons is more aimed at everyone rather than specifically kids, it has humour for everyone.

Wait, is it bad to watched The Simpsons at 5? I started watching it when I was about 5. But then, my parents never really cared what I watched, I've been watching slasher movies and whatever since I was about 8 or 9. The only effect is, I'm not squimish, which my younger brother and sister are, probably because they haven't watched all the stuff I have haha. Uh, back to Pokemon...

It's only bad whenever you watch the old Halloween specials when you're young. I saw the second one when I was eight, and well... whenever you see Burns removing Homer's brain, you'll be freaked, I don't care. I think I freaked out for a month, at least.

Of course, I wouldn't recommend Simpsons anymore -- too wanky for me.
