So, do you prefer the music/games/fashion/misc stuff of the latter days or do you always like to keep up with the newest trends?

Me? I guess you could say I prefer the older stuff. I usually listen to 60s-90s music (by 60s I mean Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles), and I prefer to play games that are at least 5 years old, and I'll still pick up an old PS or GB game that I enjoyed long ago.

(whoops posted this in the wrong place)

I'm led to believe the relevance of this topic can be associated to general media and entertainment, so I'll move this along to Other Entertainment where such topics frequently reside.

And on the topic of old school and new school, I'm a person who absolutely loves variety and would often listen to anything that has a good rhythm to it. I like listening to old songs, especially from the 70's - 80's era since they're a lot different from the music you can typically hear so often nowadays, but that doesn't mean I don't like alternating from time to time.

    It depends.

Some new video games are kool, some can rot.

Music to me is a big love for Metal
Most Old Metal is the bomb, but there are those few exceptional bands. Disturbed, some SLipknot, Dethklok,

    stuff like that.

    It is a big depender.

    New fashion to me sucks.

New television...cartoons suck (Exception: METALOCALYPSE! ROCK ON!), and the suspense shows are pretty cool

How about you like whatever you like. Discriminating between "old-school" and "new-school" is realllllly retarded.

I don't really have a preference when it comes to music. If a song is catchy, it doesn't matter what decade it's from. The oldest songs I like are from the 60's.
As for fashion, it just depends on the time period.
But I am a bit of a trend follower. I don't like the stuff just because their trendy, I just happen to like stuff a bunch of other people also like. :<

Sometimes I feel like Metal is the only reason I'm alive these days.

I like the new school stuff better. Because to me, hardness and speed is everything. :D

Older stuff covers way more topics than newer, so I doubt anyone would pick the latter. I love a lot of old stuff, specifically the 80's for movies and the 90's for video games.

I like a mix of it all. I really like 80's music and films.

I'd say I like retro/old skool stuff, but that's the current fashion too. xD

Funny how things come back around.

Definatly older entertainment, I really hate most of the bew music, there only a few good ones out there, but when I look back at the older shows and music I love them way more than any of the newer things.

I am split between the new and the old there are great band from the 50and on I like such as charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, but I also Like David Ball, Craig Morgan, Toby Keith, Big & Rich. There are great classic tv shows such as Andy Griffith, I love Lucy, Gilligan's Island, Mash. Then there is Bleach, Naruto, and many others. One thing is for certain all fashion sucks because if you try to kill yourself to look good for someone else that's not beautiful.
