Older Pokémon games you played late?

I just joined, but I recently went back to my original Red, Blue and Yellow cartridges. Something about the originals always makes me go back. Probably its nostalgia, but could also be that I enjoy not having to worry about IVs, EVs or abilities.
 
I played yellow a couple years after it came out. I also played black 2 or white 2 (I can't remember which) maybe a year or two after they came out.
 
I am currently playing Pokémon Yellow now. My goal is to raise the starter Pikachu and transfer him to Pokémon Sword, which I am also currently playing, if possible. I am sort of late to Pokémon Sword as well, considering that it came out in like 2019, but I got it for Christmas recently.
