Apparently Onodera's sister, who looks almost exactly like her older sister, joins the fray. I'm scared.

But it's a given, considering original Onodera is a popular character- which makes me sad, because it kind of perpetuates the idea that you don't have to write a 3-dimensional female character to create someone interesting to your audience.

There are undoubtedly better casts out there but I don't really have any strong feelings against any of them. Like the design a lot too. #

Feels great having good taste.
 
I don't really have a problem with the cast at large, just her, really.

I quite like Maintoge and Naoto's pretty fun. Though I will say that Onodon't does have the best ending theme. And the Shaftiest.

But eh, whatever. It takes a lot more than one character to ruin an experience. Might as well just handwave her or play her off for laughs. Heck, it'd probably be more fun that way.

Oh, I don't mind her visually, I think she looks quite nice.

In fact, I wouldn't even care that she was just waifu material if they gave her a side personality (at the very least). But she doesn't really have a personality other than "romantic interest". It's actually difficult to create characters that bland, it takes effort, but it's accomplished by giving her limited interaction, and the only ones she interacts with are the ones that perpetuate that (with main guy resulting in it and meganegirl having all of the personality for her).

But who knows, there's always time. She'll have to grow some sort of personality after a certain amount of time, and maybe being a sister will cure her.
