A Year of Funny Pictures: September 26th

As evident by my avatar and signature, you can probably expect that I am stoked about this news as hopefully you are. While it may not come across as too big of a surprise for some, especially the ones who watched Season 1 which aired in December of 2015, it was recently announced that the popular hit anime series One Punch Man received the greenlight to produce a second season. On September 25th, animation studio MadHouse tweeted a picture of the One Punch Man logo with a "2" behind it, confirming the leaks of the news that had come prior that day.

Daily Music - "Kids Will Be Skeletons" by Mogwai
    Spoiler:
One Punch Man follows the life of Saitama, an everyday-Joe-turned superhero who has the power to destroy his enemies with just one punch. Throughout the first season, he is constantly looking for someone to match is strength prowess, and ultimately joins the Hero Association in order to find an opponent of equal or greater strength. The season follows him and his apprentice, Genos', adventures and Saitama's pursuit to climb up the hero rankings. The second season is already in production and is slated to release sometime in 2017, along with a new One Punch Man mobile game.

Daily Comic - "Delicious" by Tim Buckley of Crtl+Alt+Del
    Spoiler:
The series started off as a web comic created by an author who works under the pseudonym ONE. One of his other creations - Mob Psycho 100 - has also been recently made into an anime series, which follows the character Mob and his struggle to control his psychic powers. The first season actually concluded today, and if you're a big fan of One Punch Man, I highly recommend checking it out (I actually watched Mob Psycho 100 before One Punch Man and it is equally as good.)

  • I haven't watched One Punch Man. It didn't catch my eye at all and honestly seemed like it'd bore me to death. Maybe I should reconsider?
