Opinions for the best starter??

    In your opinion, whose the best pokemon to send out first in a battle???
    Like your lead guy pretty much
     
    my personal favorite starter is xatu.

    Works better than you'd think, I know ;)

    I love starting with me CBmence. to mix it up, raikou with HP ice to eat CBmence is a schmexy starter too.
     
    Swampert and Infernape.

    Swampert is excellent to set up Stealth Rock with in the beginning of the battle, and he takes hits remarkably well (besides grass).
    Infernape covers almost anything, and STAB on Close Combat and Flamethrower really helps it. He also outspeeds many other pokes.

    Aerodeactyl i like becuz you KNOW your guna go first. I'd set him up with SR if i ever used him but i dont rly want to lol

    DON'T DISS THE ANCIENT DRAGONFLY. HE'S HAWTx100000.



    My starter depends on my team. However Yanmega, Kingdra, and Aerodactyl are usually my starters for their respective teams. Sometimes I'll throw in my Mixednite or Mixedking (Nidoking) for the heck of it.
     
    No more schmexy. Now it's yesyesyesyesyesyes. MY word. lol

    Isn't mixed nite the subpuncher from ADV? sure brings me back...

    Trait: Inner Focus (suckness)
    EV Spread: 232 SPATK / 200 HP / 76 ATK

    - Dragon Claw
    - Fire Blast
    - Focus Punch
    - Substitute

    People expect an Outrage and switch in a Skarmory, but it's then blasted by a Fire Blast. What hawtness. EV Spread gives it 323 Attack and Special Attack.
     
    That's cool..it seems like the starters usually either set up a stretegy or take hits well....interesting

    anyone else?

    If only it had Adaptibility instead of Download.

    My main opponent, my brother, switches alot. whith prediction, I can either KO or majorly Dent whatever he chooses out.

    Can someone run me the calculations of this?

    dude i feel sorry about that shiny P-z...it looks really cool too

    BTW your 2nd porygon set has EXACTLY the same Sp. Atk as mine does =P

    Download isn't as bad as it seems. If my opponent's starter has lower Special Defnse than Defense, its Sp.Att would be boosted.

    And WHY do you feel sorry. It's near(but not exactly) PERFECT!
    Good Sp.Att/Speed Ivs, EV trained, Modest Nature, Shiny, ect.

    THat was a hypothetical Porygon Z. Basically, the one I have, only with Adaptibility instead of Download. I only said I wanted calculations run on its effects on the Pokemon I listed.
     
    Well honestly i never really liked Swampert (just personally though it's a great pokemon in battle i just hate it)...but my team leader would probably be Typhlosion definitely!
