5th Gen Opinon on Seven Sages

I was actually quite disappointed when i found the first of the, i really thought i had to battle him when i started to talk to him, but the the police dude just came and dragged him away :(

I think if we would have had to fight them before they would surrender it would have been a lot better, atleast i would have seen it as better.

I definitely wanted to battle them, I think it sucked that we didn't get the opportunity, would have made for some great 'boss battles' at the end of the game.

Added a bit more resistance to the sages as well.

The girls were pretty much Lord N's sisters and caretakers

And the story behind Genesect is it was a fossil pokemon revived by Team Plasma and they made alterations to it to make it the strongest pokemon (Like Mewtwo)
But N disagreed, saying that pokemon shouldn't be tampered with and shut the project down, but some scientists kept working on it in secret

In the Third Version, I'm hoping Genesect and Kyurem play more of a role
maybe after the Elite Four, it's revealed when N's castle crumbled, Genesect escaped and is hiding at the Giant Hole, and the Six Sages are there to keep it from escaping and you have to prove you're strong enough to capture it by battling all six Sages one after the other, and I wish that you could've captured the other Dragon Pokemon back at Dragon Spiral Tower, but since N took it with him....

i think you should have gotten to battle them through out the game. like one after each gym or something like that would have been awesome.

The Seven Sages could easily have served as stand-ins for N-battles. Each sage is named after a color in a particular language, so I think it would have been cool to battle the Sages when you first meet each of them separately and they use a particular type. Zinzolin mean 'purple' so battling him in the Cold Storage with him using Poison or Psychic types would have been neat.

As for Anthea and Concordia, they're supposedly goddesses, but I'm unsure about that...If anything, they seem to be ladies-in-waiting or caretakers to N. If it's the prior, than perhaps one of them was suppose to be N's bride?

The Shadow Triad is a true enigma to me. The only hint we have is that they are obviously related and Ghetsis saved them.

Concordia and Anthea I was really looking forward to. They seemed sweet. Also, the Seven Sages . . . eh. Ghetsis was pretty solid, so I figure the others would be alright too, if a little weaker. However . . . if they are all being misled by Ghetsis, one would imagine they follow the same principles as the other Plasma Grunts, or even N - catch Pokemon, use them and release them.

I've only got 2 left to find iirc, though I'm not actively searching for them. Kinda random how Looker appears from nearly impossible to reach areas, though :(

AND YES I WISH I COULD'VE BATTLED THEM!

The Seven Sages were integrated into the plot nicely, and I like how you help Looker round them (minis Ghetsis) up post-game. It would have been nice if you battled them pre- or post-game, though.

I was ready to battle them when they ganged up on me xD Maybe more on them is being saved for the Third Game. But if we battle them, the Gym Leader scene will be cut unless they beat the Gym Leaders and it's up to us to stop them... I don't think they'll add more on them seeing as we have to find them as a post-game plot anyway.

Ghetsis are the only that worth of mention. The other are just too forgettable and generic even make me wonders why Ghetsis should be in the same group with those guys. The idea is good, but it is executed poorly. The Seven Sages should differ each other in term of appearance and personality, not just Ghetsis and given more prominent role in the next game.
