This is the Doubles Team I'm planning for ORAS. Specific details from that game are still not known, but give what advice you can. No Tier in mind yet for Showdown play, just play Battle Spot mostly.

The core of the team is Mega-Camerupt and Cradily. Storm Drain stops all water from hitting Cam and raises Cradily's S.Atk just enough to actually harm the opponent. I think a Water Type Heal Bell user would also work here. Heal Bell to remove Toxic from Crad and Surfs to boost Crad's S.Atk. (Lapras or Vaporeon can do this.) Aegislash covers Cradily weaknesses defensivly BUT I already have one so I don't need help with EV spreads on Aegislash.

It might be a good idea to add a Trick Room setter as all my core pokemon are super slow.

    Camerupt-Mega@Cameruptite
    Modest
    252 Hp / 252 S.Atk
    Fire Blast/ Heatwave
    Earth Power
    Rock Slide /Rest (?)
    Protect /Sleep Talk(?)

    Cradily @Leftovers
    Storm Drain
    Relaxed (-speed +defence)
    252 Hp / 136 Def / 112 S.Def
Giga Drain / Energy Ball (depending on tutors)
    Stockpile
    Recover
    Ancient Power/ Infestation/ Toxic
--(Storm Drain protects Cam, and raises S.Atk to useable levels.)

    Lapras / Vaporeon

    Trick room user?

Mega Camerupt should use Heat Wave as its Fire STAB, as it hits both opponents. You already have Earth Power as a single-target STAB. RestTalk isn't that useful in doubles, due to the fast pace and Camerupt's common weaknesses:
    -Heat Wave
    -Earth Power
    -Hidden Power (Ice/Grass)/Ancient Power
    -Protect
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 248 HP/8 Def/252 SAtk
    Item: Cameruptite
    Ability: Solid Rock

I think Gastrodon is the better option over Cradily, since its defensive typing is better and covers the Storm Drain + Water partner in one slot:
-Muddy Water (doesn't hit the partner)
    -Earth Power
    -Ice Beam
    -Protect
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 252 HP/252 SAtk/4 SDef
    Item: Sitrus Berry/Rindo Berry
    Ability: Storm Drain

Trick Room users work well with Mega Camerupt, given how slow it is. Reuniclus and Cresselia are examples:

    Cresselia:
    -Psyshock/Moonblast
    -Ice Beam
    -Hidden Power (Ground/Fighting)
    -Trick Room
    Nature: Sassy
    EVs: 252 HP/12 Def/228 SAtk/16 SDef
    Item: Expert Belt

    Reuniclus:
    -Trick Room
    -Psychic/Psyshock
    -Shadow Ball/Focus Blast/Hidden Power (Fire)/Energy Ball
    -Protect
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 172 HP/28 Def/252 SAtk/56 SDef
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Magic Guard/Overcoat

    or
    -Trick Room
    -Psychic/Psyshock
    -Shadow Ball/Reflect/Light Screen
    -Helping Hand
    Nature: Relaxed
    EVs: 252 HP/140 Def/68 SAtk/48 SDef
    Item: Sitrus Berry/Mental Herb
    Ability: Magic Guard/Overcoat

I think you could possibly lead with Mega Camerupt and a Trick Room setter. Have Camerupt go Mega and use Protect while Trick Room gets set up. I was thinking a set like this:

    -Mega Camerupt w/Cameruptite
    Nature: Quiet
    Ability: Solid Rock----->Sheer Force
    EVs: 252 Sp.Attack, 252 HP, 4 Defense
Moves: Eruption, Earth Power, Ancient Power, Protect

While Eruption doesn't get a boost from Sheer Force like Fire Blast and Heat Wave do, it's still more powerful than them even with Sheer Force, and still hits both targets like heat Wave does. It's also has perfect accuracy unlike those 2. You could probably sweep stuff with a set-up like that.

What are / what is going to be Major threats to trick room? Scrappy Fake Outs from mega kang and lopunny seem troublesome. Also realized storm drain won't protect camerupt from surf.
And slamence is just going to wreck errboddy.

I would say watch out for Azumarill, because aqua jet will let it hit first disregarding the trick room setting. Also keep in mind mega gyarados or just regular gyarados, will give camerupt / mega camerupt problems; and particularly mega gyarados in doubles because Mold Breaker WILL allow it to ignore Cradily's storm drain (even on a switch in :c) , and waterfall camerupt for an easy OHKO, while its un-mega form will take either of camerupt's stabs nicely.

If you wanted something besides water to lift from status in doubles, AND set trick room - I would hiiiiighly recommend Aromatisse mate. It would seem to be an excellent fit for your team; given that Camerupt would have problems with Dragon / Flying types, which Aromatisse can handle very well - and Aromatisse can set trick room without too much worry of being knocked out due to its bulk and fairy typing. Furthermore, it gets Aromatherapy to lift that status, and you could even go full white mage and give it heal pulse to abuse in trick room with healing its teammate - and still have room for Moonblast which it gets; or draining kiss.
