Out of all of Ash's Pokemon, 'who was glad didn't/ who should have evolved?

    I'm glad Bulbasaur and Squirtle never evolve since they were really cool the way they were and powerful.

    The pokemon that should have evolved is Gible or maybe Corphish.
     
    OHMAHGAWD YES. If Corphish had evolved maybe he would've been much tougher instead just thinking he was super tough.
    Gible should've evolved because Garchomp kicks butt.

    And I kinda wished Bulbasaur would've evolved into a Ivysaur though. I want Squirtle to stay the same though.
     
    Which of Ash's Pokemon did I think should have evolved? I always thought Buizel should have evolved. Sure, he was great and cool and all, but I found that he lacked power in many of the matches we've seen him in. Another Pokemon which I thought should have evolved was Bayleef. Don't get me wrong, Bayleef is cool, but Meganium would have been a TANK on Ash's team in Johto, and at the Pokemon Frontier in Kanto. I also kinda agree with both of you. Corphish evolving would have been awesome, and possibly made it even more of a powerhouse (little guy was pretty strong as it was).

    As for Pokemon I'm glad DIDN'T evolve, that would be Squirtle, Totodile (Can you imagine a Feraligatr dancing like that? I sure can't. Little dude got them moves like Jagger. :D), Pikachu (I hate the thing, but I'll admit it, I almost cried when Ash handed Pikachu the Thunderstone during the Diamond and Pearl series. I didn't want the little guy to evolve.), and Bulbasaur (Hey, more power to him for not wanting to evolve.).

    I really wanted Gible to evolve, Garchomp would be a cool Pokemon for Ash.

    Also, I hope his Unova Starters (Oshawott, Tepig, Snivy) evolve sometime soon.
     
    The only pokemon that needs to evolve is Swadloon.

    Why?

    Anyway, as for me, I think that Buizel may be fine the way it is because it proved its strength by defeating (Crasher Wake's) Floatzel, its evolved form. Agreeing with one of the above posts, I think Gible should have evolved because I want to see Ash with a pseudo-legendary on his side.
     
    I'm glad Sceptile evolved. Ash's second fully-evolved starter, and he was just... awesome. Ash has a thing for lizards doesn't he?

    I'd really like Oshawott to evolve. He hasn't had a fully-evolved water starter... Or an even evolved water starter to begin with.
     
    I hope they do something with Oshawott's evolution like have him struggle to change his personally.

    Also glad bulbasaur didn't evolve, no need to make him uglier.
     
    I'm glad Bayleef didn't evolve or even Bulbasaur for that matter,Totodile is cool the way he is,Oshawott is cool the way he is i hope he stay that way and Dewott don't seem all that great personality wise,but it does have a great design.

    Gible and maybe Corphish,Swadloon should evolve.

    Pokémon that I'm glad didn't evolve
    --Bulbasaur: He didn't want to evolve anyway and I think it was too late to even attempt it. I really grew to like his character. Out of Ash's unevolved Pokémon, I've always seen him as the strongest.

    --Squirtle: Leader of the Squirtle Squad, sunglasses, seriously awesome. Evolve him and all of that is gone. I liked how badass he was, and he was Bulbasaur's best friend. You can't evolve one without the other.

    --Bayleef: I can't imagine her as a Meganium really. It wouldn't exactly be a total disaster, I suppose but I think she's funny the way she is.

    --Totodile: As much as his voice irritates me, I can't help but find him cute. His dancing would eventually get annoying if he was too big. It would be as repetitive as Snorlax.

    Pokémon that I think should've evolved
    --Corphish: I personally just found him annoying. He's the type of Pokémon that I could possibly grow to like if he evolved. It's kind of like Phanpy.

    --Buizel: Meh, I always hoped he'd evolve. Honestly, I think he reminds me of a Poliwag. You just don't have one on your final team.

    --Gible [To Gabite]: Alright, I never expected Ash to get him to his last stage, but even Gabite would have been a start. Come on, even Richie had a Pupitar!

    Pokémon that I want to evolve in future B/W episodes
    --Tranquill: It seems fairly obvious that she'll evolve anyway, just to show off the gender differences but nevertheless, I'm looking forward to it.

    --Oshawott [To Dewott]: Definitely not Samurott, and not because I dislike it but because his personality would die. Dewott would be more tolerable while still keeping his cutely annoying character. Also, WE NEED A WATER STARTER BELONGING TO ASH TO EVOLVE.

    --Tepig [To Emboar]: I'm not sure about this one. I'd either like him to stay as he is, or evolve to his final stage. For some reason, leaving him as a Pignite would really bug me. It would be nice to keep a fire-type starter at his first stage for a change, but then again, I think he could pull off an Emboar quite nicely.

    --Snivy [To Servine]: Servine would be badass. It's just a slight improvement on an already cool Pokémon. Definitely not Serperior though. No arms or legs = no.

    --Sewaddle: What is this thing? Leavanny would be awesome though. <3

    --Palpitoad: Can't say I'm a fan of Palpitoad. He'd be much cooler if he evolved. The only problem is that I can sort of see him and Sewaddle being evolved just so the starters won't have to be. I hope not but I do see it happening.

    I wanted Squirtle to evolve into Wartortle. then he would look cooler but in any way I still would like him. I think that Corphish should have evolved along with Gible & Buizel. I really want Oshawott to evolve into a awesome Dewott & change his cowardly personality into a fighting machine with style! Servine would make Snivy more cooler! I don't really care about Tepig & Swadloon & Tranquil are very likely evolving. I think Roggenrola will also evolve into Boldore & possibly Gigalith.
     
    Im happy Corphish didnt evolve and i gotta say Corphish was actually really strong

    I am also happy that Bulbasaur and Squirtle didnt evolve either

    However it wouldnt hav hurt if Gible evolve but to be fair Ash didnt have it very long before the season ended
     
    Great thread. Here's my thoughts:

    Should have evolved: (I just checked and noticed that many of Ash's pokemon have already fully evolved.) Totodile. I just wish Totodile had been Ash's second fully evolved starter. It just never really impressed me as being all that powerful in it's base form like Squirtle is. I'd like to have seen how Ash would have handled a Feraligatr.

    Glad did not evolve: Gible. I'm probably one of the few people who likes Gible like it is. THen again, sometimes I feel like I'm one of the few people who doesn't want to turn pokemon into an animated Dexter or Breaking Bad... I just don't believe that Ash has to sacrifice all of his funny, likable pokemon's personalities for stronger pokemon.

    Wish hadn't evolved: (I'm adding this because I'm such a strong supporter of the natural strength of unevolved pokemon.) Glalie. I like Glalie, but I also liked Snorunt, and I kinda miss it a little bit. I also would have added Ambipom here as well, but since it didn't evolve under Ash's ownership, I can't really.
     
    Glad did not evolve:Totodile prove that it was just as strong as Squirtle,Totodile really impressed me by showing how powerful he was in his base form,i hope he never evolve since he is cool the way he is.

    Should have evolved:Gible could have evolve once to a Gabite that would have been ok,but it was fine that it didn't evolve.
     
    This is an interesting topic. Here's my picks!

    Should have evolved: Gible, it could've evolved into a strong Garchomp, has a great potential if Ash trains it even more and might stand up just like Cynthia's Garchomp. I actually thought this would evolve into Gabite, but no.

    Glad did not evolve: I'm actually glad Pikachu didn't evolve into a Raichu. I just honestly don't know why though. :P .. Maybe, because I don't want Pikachu to be replaced. xD

    Wish hadn't evolved: None, to be honest.
