Overpower is a tournament of sorts, designed to test knowledge of one of the more neglected tiers: Ubers. Overpower works as a simple League, with eight "Gym Leaders", four "Elite Four" and one "Champion". Prizes are given even for participation, so whether you win or lose, you won't walk away empty-handed.

The rules here are quite basic, with one or two twists thrown in. Players are allowed to select one Uber Pokemon as their "Main", two Ubers as backups, while the remaining three Pokemon must be chosen from any tier below Uber. Each of the non-Uber Pokemon must also share one Type with the player's Main Pokemon. Those rules are basically what sets us apart from other tournaments; it gives players a challenge and forces them to use pure strategy. Apart from those, though, general tournament rules are still in effect. Sleep Clause, Level 100, and of course, no cheating. Pokesav and hacked Pokemon are not allowed. There will not be any exceptions.

As of now, we do not have any running battle system. If you would like to help us get this up-and-running, you can apply for a Gym or Elite Four spot below. There will be rewards up for grabs to anyone who wishes to apply for a spot, as well as much personal appreciation C: To apply, simply fill out one of the following forms and PM it to me (this is so that challengers don't know your team. You will not be allowed to change your team for the duration of this tournament).

Gym Leaders may select one Uber Pokemon to include in their team. Each of the other Pokemon must then share one of (or both) the Uber's type. Gym Leader teams must be between 3 and 6 Pokemon in number.

E4 teams are allowed to include up to 4 Uber Pokemon. The Pokemon can be any type or species, with the remaining two Pokemon being selected from any tier. I would prefer it, however, if you did keep a certain "theme" running here (i.e a Special Attack team, mono-colour, etc.).

This spot will definitely be harder to achieve than the others. Applying will require that you are tested by me or another selected PC user over Shoddy Battle. A Champion is allowed to choose any 6 Pokemon, and is the last hurdle for all challengers. Beat the Champ, and you get an awesome prize :3
